Because him being bi is never a matter of attraction. If they're at the point where he's confessing that he's bi, she's already attracted to him. If she just doesn't like black people, or redheads, or short guys, then the point is moot, because she never talks to those people. For the record, I think those sorts of arbitrary judgments aren't that nice either. I mean, yeah, everyone makes them, but no one should be proud of them.
But let's say they've been at it for a few weeks, they've shagged, it's starting to get serious, and then he says, "I've been with men." How is that different from him saying he's been with other women? Maybe I'm incapable of getting it because my personal feelings are that it's absolutely no different at all. But people are people, and people love who they love. I just can't see that as a sudden game-changer. Either way, it's this woman he's with now.
This is actually exactly how I feel. I can't understand why someone gets hung up on gender. I don't consider myself bi-sexual(although I do LOVE the female form and would have no shame in romancing Merrill and Isabela as a girl

), but I really don't care about these sorts of thing.
I fell in love with my boyfriend, and he later told me he had a huge crush on another guy for a long time but the other guy didn't like him that way. They're still friends though, and other than making bro-mance jokes it doesn't bother me. Cause he picked me in the end, and we're with eachother.
I'm also so tired of gay stereotypes! I really hope everyone grows out of these generalizations.
I'm especially tired of hearing that Anders MUST be the m/m option because he loves cats... REALLY? That's just silly. How is that even a stereotype for that??
