That's pretty much why I always play on casual or normal.  I want to play MY party, not the most optimised party.

Yeah. I'm going through Origins at the moment on casual. Okay, so it's heavily modded and I've crafted some awesome game-breaking weapons and armour (The Winters Forge ftw), but still. At this point, I'm playing for story, not for combat (I never liked Origins' combat). So it's casual all the way.

My first DA2 run will likely be on normal, although I'll probably have a go at switching up the difficulty at various points in the game, just to see what it's like.

FemaleHawkexFenris(mage) - the reason for this is because to me Female Hawke fits the mage class much better than the male hawke does( who actually fits better as a warrior to me but both seem as if they could pull it off)

after that back to warrior n rogue runs with Male n Female Hawkes romancing Merrill for the most part.

M!Hawke with Anders and F!Hawke with Isabela (I actually think she's quite pretty, to be honest)

--> (Slightly off-topic) Its likely that I'll play Hawke as a mage, I think 98% of my Wardens in Origins were mages. In fact, majority of the time I never got near/past Ostagar when playing a rogue or warrior. Not because it was difficult or anything.

I don't see that as a problem.  It'll probably be actually easier than not.  Since you only have one character that has to worry about positioning.

Hmm, perhaps. Yeah, maybe I should just give it a go, right? Although I'm genetically predisposed to play a DW rogue first. It's like, in my blood or something.

Interestingly, the hardest class I found to keep everyone alive with in the demo was mage!Hawke. Obv not in the exaggerated part, but in the 2nd ogre fight. Didn't have even a tiny bit of a problem with every other class. Makes me wary to play a mage ... during my first couple of runs anyway. That and the robes.

But yeah, I never upgraded my ranger's Dalish armour from 'Hardened' because I liked the green tint.  I have my Arcane Warrior wear Ancient Elvish Armour because it looks so cool.  And I did an entire run with my Champion in her underwear. Casual FTW.

I have never done m/m or f/f before. I think I will try with DA2, though. M/M first with Fenris if available. If not, then maybe Anders. I don't think I'll do F/F unless Merrill is available. Isabella just doesn't appeal to me on any level.

(I'm a consoler too, 360, but recently got it on mac as well. Getting DA2 on 360 - at first anyway.)

From the beginning I've said that it'll my first char, a Lady Hawke will be romancing Isabela but all this there all bi talk has given me this feeling that Merrill it totally going to try and ninjamance <3 her way into my Hawke's heart before Lady Hawke even realizes it!

It's really quite simple. You play the game at least 4 times. The only choice really is who to boink first. That is if you don't screw up and prevent AN ENTANGLEMENT OF LIMBS.

Alright, guys, huge news here. In 4chan there is a thread by a guy who said he just beat the game. He has some intereting insight and I asked him about the bi LI's and this is his answer:

"Yeah I think so. I could flirt with Merrill.
I did flirt with her after friends with benefitting Isabella, but I thought Isabella was more interesting so I went with her.
Now on my male playthrough I am flirting with Anders and Fenris.
One of my rival flirt options was asking if Fenris liked "Being told what to do." because he was a slave."

Maybe he's lying, maybe he's not. I'm not sure and this is not a real confirmation afterr al. But still =)
