Knowing Bioware they definitely will not all be bi and i think it's a smart desicion on their part. I doubt people pathologically obsessing about it on these boardwis ll have changed minds either. Just like Bethany will not be romancable despite what some people want. I do like Tali but the creepy obessive fans not so much.

Happy Valentine’s Day to one and all. We know many of you have romance on your minds today, so we thought we would confirm for you the potential romance characters in Dragon Age 2.

You can choose to romance:
Isabela
Fenris
Merrill
Anders
 
Keep in mind that all Dragon Age 2 romances are optional, so you can choose to follow these subplots or not as you prefer. All four NPCs also have other non-romance subplots that you can again choose to follow if you want to learn more about these characters. To learn more about the romances, you will need to play Dragon Age 2.

So, if you are romantically inclined during your Dragon Age 2 playthroughs, you now know who you can pursue. Pitch your woo accordingly.

I don't see anything about sexual preferences.

We know factually that at least one of each gender is bisexual.

We know factually that none of the main LI's are strictly homosexual.

What we don't know is if there are any choices for gay romances of either gender.

DAO Examples lesbians could only romance Leliana, gays could only romance Zevran.  This is of course limited strictly to companions.

Bad, that's all that can really be said. I like tali but as a little sister rather than a romance (mostly because I play femshep so I can't romance her anyway). Though yeah the tali fans that roam these threads, can be pretty crazy.

Here you go.  Pretty sure this was formed after the thread got locked numerous times for getting too weird.

I wasn't interested in romancing Tali - as MShepard - before I knew about them.  Now I simply can't.

It's true, it says so in the official guide.

Also, it's not the first Bioware chaste LI.  Both Grace and Annah are chaste in Planescape: Torment, and still awesome.  I didn't feel cheated at all that I couldn't 'boink' them.

I'm not disagreeing with any of this. I'm merely pointing out that no one has specifically stated whether these love interests are gay, straight or bi.

I was hesitant at first, but now I actually kinda like the idea! It goes to show how it is implemented (if there won't even be kisses and such), but I'm really looking forward to finding out, playing the game.

I would, cat, but after ME2 I promised myself I'd boycott BW if they pulled that stunt on us again.

It's a principle thing.

I have hundreds - literally hundreds - of BW playthroughs across all games and platforms, so it's a big deal for me. But ME2 was like  THIS HURTS YOU, and I have to make a stand.

Still.

I feel as if you're right, now.  The evidence, circumstancial as it is, points to 'all bi'.

I've always felt a little left out in video games because having a romance usually means that there is sex involved (if not the character actually engaging in it, then the party implying that you two have). This... this is something that I've always wanted. Always. I hope he won't let us talk him out of his vows. GAH I'm tickled to death about this!

I... I don't know what character to play! Should she be an archer, or a mage? Warrior?!  Hee! I get to figure that out now~!
