And she's actually good at doing more than 1 drawing every thousand years

I love non-physical romances. There's something about the JE, ME and DA romances which really bugs me - if you don't sleep with them when you get the chance, it doesn't count (no import, no achievement etc.) Particularly in Mass Effect, where it's always the last couple of hours before you might all die, I think there is a romantically viable way to choose to wait, at least 'til after the really dangerous mission.
Plus, when an emotionally significant romance can be reduced to hunting for the clip with sex in it on youtube or the DA achievement for romancing (sleeping with) all LIs, it feels a bit off. That's why i enjoyed Bastila and Visas for romances, it was entirely about the emotional connection

Asexuality is the act of reproducing  without the need of sexual interaction.

All humans crave sexual interaction unless the lack hormones which is just about impossible.

And there are plenty of asexual people. Do some research.

Because one is DLC. If it works anything like ME2, there'll be another DLC companion down the line who is female and romancable in the same capacity. Just happens to be that the male one is the Day 1 DLC.

ME2...

4 Females & 1 DLC Female
4 Males & 1 DLC Male
2 You there's no chance you want to romance - i.e. Grunt & Legion (arguably the Shale & Dog of ME2)

ME1 had 3 females, 3 males.

Clearly BioWare are interested in maintaining at least a rough balance, and I can't imagine they'd only add an extra male LI, and not do a female one further down the line...

Hmm, not getting the DLC myself so for me it remains 2 to 2 (and if they are all bi it won't really matter anyhow)

@Asexual:No, There are plenty of celibate people. But no human can be Asexual unless they lack genitals and have no ho hormones. Which if there are(i very much doubt unless it is a genetic mutation) any dosen't make Sebastian Asexual romance anyways.

And yeah, I know the difference between asexuality and celibacy. Still, I'm happy that there's at least one romance option in a game that doesn't mean the "endgame' of it is always about the sex act.

I don't know if i want to get into this debate,
But i doubt the 1% of these people who claim to be asexual are. That''s way to high of a number even if it is real. You can post faulty sources for wikipedia and easily make it claim almost anything as fact.

I'm hoping we can play Hawke as asexual, but I think that might be asking too much. At the least, maybe a Hawke who couldn't care less about adding sex to their relationship, and won't press for it.

I can tolerate some ignorance, but yours? It's just not worth wasting time/energy on.

Asexuality is not reconized as an sexual orientation by most.
I doubt a human can lack attraction without it being a very rare disorder since attraction is one of the most basic functions of our body/brain.
