Frankly the fact that someone can shoot fireballs from their hands and not get burned are far more immersion breaking than 4 bisexuals.
lol, thank you for implanting the mental image of that scenario occuring in RL into my head.

Not to be cheeky, but, isn't it ironic that the dev who is known for not liking romance subplots is the one to put up this announcement?
Thanks, Chris

I am very much looking forward to seeing how a romance with Anders/Vengeance plays out. Looks like it will be interesting.

I guess I'll romance Isabela as the next best thing.
*takes Sebastian/Varric, Aveline & Bethany for every fight* <=Defiant NON-ROMANCES!
I'm only taking Bethany if I need a mage. Otherwise, Seb, Varric & Aveline, the gorgeous non-romances!
Here's to a Varric romance in DA3. *raises goblet*

No Aveline? We seriously need a middleground between Merril (virginal girl next door) and Isabella (definitlely not a virginal girl next door).
Implying that Aveline, a middle-aged widow is only....moderately virginal? :/
I suspect the main reason Aveline wasn't chossen was choice. They wanted two females/two males. And, as a woman who just lost her husband, luring her into your boudoir would have been just as weird as when you canoodled Jaheira into your sack in BG2 (though that was beyond weird, especially if you had been playing with her and her husband throughout all of BG1).

I should've expected such. I usually dislike all of the choices for LI anyway. Oh, well.
Isabella I pretty muched guessed .. and Bi I would think.
10 to 1 Fenris is going to be Bi as well ...
Glad to see Anders as such but reading his story I'm going to NOT be a Templar spec heh.

Middle aged? Just how old do you think she is? I picture her as marginally older than Hawke but not by much.

Are there ever middle-ground romances? Remember Alistair and Zevran? Alistair was the virginal, shy Chantry boy, and Zevran was... well, Zevran.

I for one find this agreeable. Here, finally, is the steel-tough warrior lady that will most certainly refuse the advances of the man (Hawke). I look forward to seeing how this turns out.

I have no idea. But, considering she was already a knight, and married, when you meet her as you're escaping Loethering as a young man, I'd hazard she's certainly older than you (Hawke).
Age is difficult to discern in an RPG unless they are implicitly telling you someone is very old or very young due to the sex sells motto of marketing. Besides, you're totally throwing a red herring. My argument was that she's a widow, and as such, the least likely of the three women for Bioware to make your love interest.
The whole "middle-aged" comment was clearly directed at your "virginal" one and had absolutely nothing to do with my thoughts on whether or nor she should have been one of the two girls romanceable.
I suppose ideally that all your companions would be romanceable, but I think we knew that wasn't going to happen.
