Just a quick question i'm sorry if it's already been answered somewhere. Is it possible to successfully romance more than one character during one play through without making the other lover either mad or break up with you? seeing as we aren't all living in the same camp any more i thought it might be possible. That is can the player have two or more full and successful relationships that are both there until the end of the game?

Ahhh, I wish Varric or Sebastian were part of the options too </3... Anders and Fenris are chill though! Anders' story has gotten me a bit more interested in him as an LI, very interesting story~

I suspect the main reason Aveline wasn't chossen was choice. They wanted two females/two males. And, as a woman who just lost her husband, luring her into your boudoir would have been just as weird as when you canoodled Jaheira into your sack in BG2 (though that was beyond weird, especially if you had been playing with her and her husband throughout all of BG1).

Middle aged? Just how old do you think she is? I picture her as marginally older than Hawke but not by much.

Are there ever middle-ground romances?  Remember Alistair and Zevran?  Alistair was the virginal, shy Chantry boy, and Zevran was... well, Zevran.

I wanted to make a male Hawke just to romance Avelne. The whole love story could be so epic! But alas, Aveline is beyond my reach. BUT I'm quite happy with Anders and Fenris.....especially Fenris. I always wanted to romance Nathaniel while playing Awakening , but I guess Anders is gonna have to suffice.

I for one find this agreeable. Here, finally, is the steel-tough warrior lady that will most certainly refuse the advances of the man (Hawke). I look forward to seeing how this turns out.

I have no idea. But, considering she was already a knight, and married, when you meet her as you're escaping Loethering as a young man, I'd hazard she's certainly older than you (Hawke).

Age is difficult to discern in an RPG unless they are implicitly telling you someone is very old or very young due to the sex sells motto of marketing. Besides, you're totally throwing a red herring. My argument was that she's a widow, and as such, the least likely of the three women for Bioware to make your love interest.

The whole "middle-aged" comment was clearly directed at your "virginal" one and had absolutely nothing to do with my thoughts on whether or nor she should have been one of the two girls romanceable. 

I suppose ideally that all your companions would be romanceable, but I think we knew that wasn't going to happen.
