I would actually like to have a love triangle for once.
It's normally:
Me: Which one of you is a lesbian?
NPC: Uh... me?
Me: Okay, grab your coat, you're pulled.
It would be nice to have actual choice and conflict for once.
Can't see it happening though, alas.

The thing that i find most alluring about Isabella is that she can take care of herself. We've seen her defeat groups of men single handed, and although nothing she said in Origins suggests that she's aversed to giving it away to anyone that takes her eye, i think that it will be much harder to take her heart.
Her physical endowment has little to do with it. I wish she'd lose the headthing that she wears.
Indeed, she should be wearing a true pirate hat:

I would like to believe this game isn't being marketed to teenage boys. I see little evidence against it, however.

I'm a 41 year old woman.
You mean the game isn't marketed at me?
I'm shocked...

I don't think that the size of one's rack says a great deal about anything. I also don't think that Isabela's is ridiculosuly big. She has a good body shape, and i don't think that you need to be a 14 year old boy to appreciate it.

Bisexual Merrill makes sense if she really is "naive/virginal". She could be intimidated and scared by big strong boys, but find comfort in the arms of a gentle woman.
Sounds good to me. I loved her in DOA. I got the vague idea that we were close...

The origin story really did have that impression didn't it. Especially during the send off scene.Maelora wrote...

Maybe she recently had a child... that would make her a much more compelling character than previously thought...prazision wrote...
If Isabela's character really is very compelling and deep then it makes it even worse that they felt the need to give her such ridiculously big breasts.
Did you ever think of that mister boob-judging guy? huh?

Breasts come in all sizes. I accidently wandered into the lingerie section at Debenhams once, and they sell bras in a wide variety of sizes.

The size of Isabela's rack (and it really is quite large) says "We, on the Dragon Age team, believe that having a girl with big breasts is a good way to make her physically appealing to 18-34 year old males".
It's true that breasts come in all sizes - in Mass Effect, in real life, in Uncharted, in Baldur's Gate 2 - but in Origins and DA2, it would appear that anything less than a D cup is an abberation.

No need to apologize. I can't sympathize, but I see that the general subject of romances is important to lots of people. And having limited choice (1 here, 0 in ME2), would naturally be disappointing.Maelora wrote...
Sorry, Taleroth. I'm still bitter over ME2. 'This Hurts You'.

Actually I'm kind of expecting that Anders is the default bi option and that Sebastian is going to end up being a "hidden" second bi option.Sabariel wrote...
Maybe both Anders and Fenris are straight. Maybe Sebastian is the bisexual option. Maybe BioWare will tent their fingers evilly and laugh while people complain that the only way to get some man-on-man loving is by purchasing a DLC...
...Though my real vote still goes to bisexual Vengeance.
Which would be a cool surprise.

Well i'm 25, so that must be why i find her visually pleasing.
I haven't seen much of the other characters though, so i don't know about the D cup comment. I'll have to do some research on this.

The stories are all by the writers of the characters. I wrote the Anders story, Dave Gaider wrote Fenris, Sheryl Chee wrote Isabela and Mary Kirby wrote Merrill.

The combination of reading that and no longer being in a downright frightfully bad mood due to completely unrelated issues... I suddenly find Jellyfish's post from this morning much much funnier...prazision wrote...

You know, some women have great figures. I have a KILLER figure when I'm watching my weight. Big hips, big butt, huge breasts.
Does this make me a less deep person? Does this mean that my body type can't be in video games?

It's marketed to people in their 20s.
