ah, wouldn't say that. because the relationship between these two isn't nearly as clear as many people believe now, after months of repeated playthroughs and discussion. and many people just got that vibe after reading some heated arguments about it^^ when you're playing a dude and not romancing him you'd propably not draw that conclusion.Ryzaki wrote...
True but he also had Taliesan as a lover. So yeah it was pretty obvious even without romancing him with a male warden that he played for both teams.

I hadn't even considered this before. I love it. <3Athro wrote...
The point about Anders possibly being bi is because the story makes a lot about him being considered different, an abomination, needing to change things so that he can be himself without fear... that is all easily read as subtext for being bi/gay.
It's not the Justice/Vengeance thing - it's his motivations for teaming up with Justice.
It's not a 100% case for being gay/bi - it's just a very compelling reason because his backstory would match with the option.

A) Ad hominem attack.
C) I am referring to the Fantasy genre, not just "Western Fantasy RPGs" because, as you point out, those don't really exist anymore. But Western Fantasy RPGs are a subset of the Fantasy genre.

Yup. Definitely a dude. You don't know anything about cup size, so stop trying.
Also, how can you miss the point so hilariously? I'm not obsessed with breasts, I'm annoyed that some video game creators apparently ARE, because it demeans the medium and gives fodder to those who wish to imply that video games are a lesser form of entertainment.
Dude. You ARE obsessed with breasts. Try and justify it however you like, but (of course, based solely on these posts of yours... you could be totally different in real life) you have an extreme case of breast fetishism. You're so hung up on them, I just... I just don't get it. Truly. You are baffling.

Really? I played a male character who wasn't romancing him and I got that feeling. Then again I'm a yaoi fangirl but his tone the way he spoke, the sad look he gave Taliesan. Though then again I am a yaoi fangirl. So...

Well, your point was clearly made, wasn't it? Talking about the breasts sizes of characters with such conviction, as if you are an expert. You don't know anything about me, so don't assume. If you were really making a different point, maybe you should have stated it more directly, without sounding like all the other piggy men on this forum who are drooling all over these female characters, looking at them only as sexual objects. You just di the same thing, and have not presented yourself otherwise.prazision wrote...
Hm, yes, you're right, having had nearly two dozen girlfriends over the course of my life, with varying cup sizes, most of whom I ended up learning said size due to shopping with or for them clearly means I know less about cup size than a woman who has only ever bought bras for herself.
Also, how can you miss the point so hilariously? I'm not obsessed with breasts, I'm annoyed that some video game creators apparently ARE, because it demeans the medium and gives fodder to those who wish to imply that video games are a lesser form of entertainment.

Maybe I'm just crazy, but I always assumed that whenever Zevran "hit on" a companion, he was just toying. He wanted to make them squirm. He was very confident in his sex appeal while the Fereldens of the group were far more conservative, comparatively. Provoking them was funny - like he did with Wynne's magical bosom.
I mean, the guy was very sensual but he wasn't some soulless boning machine. His arc was both sad and very well constructed.
True but he also had Taliesan as a lover. So yeah it was pretty obvious even without romancing him with a male warden that he played for both teams.
Woah woah, I totally missed that. I think you have to be in a romance or high approval (both?) with Zevran for him to say that line, because I had like maybe 75% approval when that confrontation happened and never got to see that line ;_;
EDIT: For the curious, I looked it up on Dragon Age wiki and apparently when Taliesan confronts Zevran, Zevran will decline to fight and say that it makes him sad because they were "friends once, and more." Tooooooootally didn't get that line when this happened to me.

Why? Why do it? Maybe we should take videogames less seriously and just enjoy them for the fun that they are? It isn't meant to represent reality. Its suppose to be fun.

A) That wasn't an ad hominem attack. He could have phrased himself better, but what he said was "Oblivion is not oversexualized. This aspect of your argument is faulty."
C) You're the one who said western RPGs *shrug* And anyway, what does it matter what whether it's fantasy games or fantasy RPGs? It seems like you just didn't want to end on a

So let's pull this off the current topic of breast sizes and return to discussing the romances. Yes, there's overlap between the two topics, but this has gone far beyond that point.

Some of us would like video games to be a serious medium, like games such as Heavy Rain and the upcoming LA Noire.
If you want to flip out and be a badass with a sword, why not just play Devil May Cry or God of War? Games with narratives (like RPGs) should be at least trying to be quality (like New Vegas).
