Excellent fanart, DalishRanger! I couldn't help but laugh at Anders' face. He totally looks like he's saying, "Did I do that? Oopsie."

I must say as much as I love Isabela, the new Anders romance/storyline is really intruiging to me.

Isabella is the only viable love interest for me, I just can't get into people who look like children and dating a cannibal is a line I just will not cross.
In fact I hope recruiting Anders is completely optional because cannibalism makes me sick.

I am VERY psyched for Anders storyline. Hell, its written by Hepler who did a Paragon of her Kind. You just know there is going to be some horror undertones mixed with tragedy and heart stomping things.

IMO, I'm pretty convinced Anders' romance plot is going to be exceedingly well written. Aveline's story and Anders story ties in my book, from what clues we've been allowed by Bioware.

Out adventuring, probably. Haven't played GoA or WH yet but the ending for Awakening seems to imply that the Warden has sort of "disappeared" (which is cemented in one ending of WH, it seems)...

I don't want to sound greedy, but why there must be four heterosexual and only two homosexual options? Couldn't they be all four opened to everyone?



(by the way, is there a reason why the LI characters are restricted to the number of four? it's not a complaint, just to understand...)

I had the Leliana epilogue in Awakening... just checked Dragon Age Wiki and it seems in that case the Warden stepped down as Commander because the Blight was over and he was seen a year later with Leliana in Denerim. And it says he never returned to Vigil's Keep.

So there seem to be a lot of Awakening endings that allow the Anders story to happen without the Warden being there. Also, that ending doesn't contradict Golems of Amgarrak or Witch Hunt.

Well it's slim pickins but I can take a guess of what the majority of players will go to first.



I mean it's really not that hard at all to guess that Isabella will be the most romanced in the statistics.

The male romances possibilities are starting to remind me of Baldurs Gate 2, meaning no pickings at all for me.

Sorry but choosing between dating a cannibal and feeling like a perverted child lover is no choice at all for me.

Because that would be silly. If you take an average random group of people, one or two might be interested in the same sex, but most will probably not. Really half of the LI's being same-sex options is already being pretty generous if you think about it, no?

Whats silly about it exactly? Trying to impose real world logic on a fantasy world video game seems more silly to me.

If all 4 possible love interests are available to both genders you allow the maximum number of people to enjoy more of the game. Not trying to be snippy but THAT logic makes far more sense to me than yours.

Given her attitudes to lovemaking in DAO it'd seem silly if we couldn't, in fact my FemHawke is counting on it, if we can't I lose my one viable, in-party, romance opportunity, unless I cave in and decide to play MaleHawke straight after all.

and isabela is no stranger to appreciating the female form so i'd say it's highly possible.

I agree. Playing therapist to the mental patient is not what I call romance, and I also hope I never have to recruit Anders.
