Me too serious? You guys are taking things waaaay too seriously. Get a life, go out and meet real girls/boys whatever your fancy. I enjoy the game in its entirety you are getting way too hung up on the romances which are flavour. Incest is illegal in a lot of countries, Bioware is not going to go there... get over it. Also it would up the rating to max which would reduce sales, it would cause a controversy way above the Mass effect one. It's never going to happen, not on a commercial retail game. If you do a google search I'm sure there's a webgame out there some ware to sate you.

You're being an ****. Stop. It's a romance thread. If people want to romance Bethany, let them talk about it. Believe it or not, not EVERYONE who thinks that an incestuous romance plot could make a really good story needs to "go out and meet real girls/boys." I don't think anyone on the recieving end of your demeaning rhetoric is taking anything too seriously, when you're accusing them all of being pathetic virginal neckbeards.

Whereas, you ARE being too serious. Because you feel the need to barge in and disrupt a civil, healthy conversation among (mostly) mature individuals to whine about how they need to get over it because it's not happening. I guess that maybe you think you're taking the moral high ground? You're not. You're lowering yourself to the position of a yapping animal who just won't shut up during the grown ups' dinner party.

You should stop there, and there is much to say about your post, we'll just avoid that it does parte again the old debate of morality useless.

I think those who take themselves too seriously, and take the game too seriously, are not the side that we think.

And I think that those who show the most reasonable and least offensive are those who have done that issuing an opinion. I do not even know why you get upset for a mere fad for a character, as you have been to your characters. I have seen girls who loved Carver.

Take a breathe. DA2 is not my life, DA2 it's not your life, DA2 is not the lives of players.

But the point you're all missing here is this is a developer website, a developer that has come under heavy fire for previous games for certain choices. if they're happy for this debate to go on then fine, tbh it doesn't offend me, it just occurs to me that you guys are not helping things by harping on about practices that are both illegal and frowned upon. Is it right that sexual practices are considered more taboo in video games than violence? Probably not, but the point is they are, and posting such discussions on a developer forum are only helping to confirm the attitude of the people trying to censor these types of games. You'll end up with a future game with any hit of romance removed because you couldn't accept Bioware's decision at where to draw the line.

You can discuss this stuff all you like, my point was this is not really the right forum to do it on.

My intent was not to "defeat" anyone. Only that, whatever your intent, when you come into a thread and tell everyone they're ridiculous for talking about a topic, you're throwing a spanner in the works. It was relevant (enough), and BioWare is NOT going to cut out all romances because people want to enjoy that plot with a character they find attractive, even if that character is the PC's sister. The machine was working. There's just no need to stick a wrench in the gears.

[EDIT] sassperella has just as much a right to participate in the discussion as anyone else. It's when it turns from "discussion" to "argument about the individuals involved" that it gets out of line. You're just as guilty of that as she is.
