My intent was not to "defeat" anyone. Only that, whatever your intent, when you come into a thread and tell everyone they're ridiculous for talking about a topic, you're throwing a spanner in the works. It was relevant (enough), and BioWare is NOT going to cut out all romances because people want to enjoy that plot with a character they find attractive, even if that character is the PC's sister. The machine was working. There's just no need to stick a wrench in the gears.

I meant they'd cut out romances because they were forced to by the media. The media is a powerful thing and being forced to up the ratings or having their game banned in some countries is not something Bioware would want so if this kind of thing generated enough negative publicity then there could be repercussions that's all I'm saying. People want more and more until they ruin something because they don't consider the possible consequences.

And yes my first posts were probably more of a direct attack than I meant them to be and for that I apologise. What irks me is the irresponsible attitude of "I want this in a game" regardless of the cost.

[EDIT] sassperella has just as much a right to participate in the discussion as anyone else. It's when it turns from "discussion" to "argument about the individuals involved" that it gets out of line. You're just as guilty of that as she is.

When did I ever lash out against anyone that didn't attack me first? By all means she can participate, hence I gave her the option to join us.

It's sad how a couple of eccentric people can turn a perfectly good thread/forum into a cesspool of nonsense. I believe the topic here was supposed to be about the confirmed LIs, which were Isabela, Fenris, Merrill, and Anders. If you want to talk about incest why don’t you make a new post titled, “Incest” and discuss it there. See how the mods like it.

If you read back you see I apologise for the tone of my first couple of posts. But I still stand by the fact that the few people saying "I want I want" in this thread are completely ignoring the consequences of such actions and what the inclusion of their wants would do to the game. The majority will always win out on something like this and the majority find incest wrong, it's a taboo, and it's illegal. People should be mature enough to accept this and the fact that it'll never be in a game that gets past certification and that by actively promoting it they run the risk of damaging the game in the eyes of the public.
