I will have to say I hope there is a Achievement/Trophy for each LI like in DA:O, really encourages me to replay the game in different ways. One think i hope DA2 didnt take from ME is the single romance Trophy, I wouldve played ME1 and ME2 alot more than i already have if it wasnt for the single romance Trophy.
So all in all I hope there is a different Trophy for each LI, and I also hope its not as simple as to break up with the previous LI to get a new one. Hope the relationship evolves as you keep talking to them. Sorta like how you have to do a mission each time when talking on the Normandy to get new dialogue if your pursuing to see how doing all available LI in one ME2 play will affect ME3.

I think I saw in another thread that there is only one achievement for pursuing a relationship.  Nothing more specific than that.

That would be good.
I'll never get some of those achievements in Origins because of that...

I have to admit, I like that idea of the frriendship and rivarly system allot more, sometimes if you really care about someone you have to actually attempt to stop them from doing things that are harmful to them.  This way around could make relationships (not just romantic ones) very interesting

Yeah, and now I'm thinking Fenris' story might end up with me feeling as torn as I did with Garrus.  Posted Image  My renegade Shepard let him take the shot, but after seeing the paragon path on YouTube I was kind of sort of sorry I did.  And with Fenris, just hearing what happened to him makes me think of all the creative ways to make the magister pay.  But vengeance doesn't necessarily bring peace.

I guess the best thing to do is stay true to the character you created for that Hawke, it at least gives really good opportunites for multiply replays with different Hawkes

Only four :(.....I wanted to bone that woman that was interrogating Varric. I mean I wanted to scissor her since I'm planning on playing with a Ladyhawke. Guess that means I can only go with Isabella now...unless Anders and Fenris are JUST THAT CHARMING that I'd go gay for them in a video game.

Do not  underestimate the allure of Bioware's in-game male characters.  Posted Image  I can only dream that Anders and Fenris are so charming that they're lure a straight man to their bed.  That would be like..... Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

All of the debate of everyone being bi aside, I really hope that they go with Anders for the m/m option, just because he'd be the least stereotypical choice. We've already had a bendy male elf and if they made another one (Fenris) then why can't Merril be bendy?!  :crying:

I just wish their f/f character wasn't portrayed as "loose". I really like how Leliana worked out as a bisexual character. (And actually seemed to have a leaning towards f/f relationships.) Hopefully getting to know Isabela will change my opinion of her and open up some real depth to her character, as they keep claiming will happen.

Also, it would be interesting if the whole "not everyone is the sexuality you want them to be" argument actually worked the other way and Bioware decides to throw us threw a loop and give us exclusively homosexual character.

Was this confirmed? I only read the first 30 pages and the last few and figured Priestly wouldn't humor us anymore.

Snif...I miss cute, sweet Leliana already.  I really loved how they portrayed her character and, though she had as much of a damaged, dark history as anyone, she truly found redemption and peace in her service of the Maker.  She seemed to approach her romance with the Warden as a powerful, positive, and redemptive part of her own journey.  It was a very rewarding storyline and romance.

As of now, I have pretty negative feelings toward Isabella as the f/f option, but we shall see how things go once I play the game.  Perhaps her characterization and voice acting will change my mind.  Though, I still hold out hope for a f/f Merrill option...

That's it. Just to be safe, I'm killing off Anders in Awakening and never recruiting Fenris.

Eh... "confirmation" is such a sticky word. All the evidence points to any given player character being able to romance any of the four companions. We have Mr. Priestly saying "Here they are, choose your woo accordingly." Clearly, this means that I can pick any of them on one character. There's been a review stating that the romances are unconstrained.

Yet, people insiste on being Debbie Downers, because... I dunno, they're afraid to BELIEVE? Well, I'm not afraid to believe. I'm going to sing to the world, in a wholesome mezzo-soprano.

They also say it's good to be a pessimist because you're always either proven right or pleasantly surprised. I learned my lesson when I assumed Jack would swing my way. >_> But assuming also makes and ass out of u and me. Or mostly just me.

You know what's better than being pleasantly surprised? Pleasantly having known it all along

I'm making such a big deal out of this. If they screw me over, I'm going to look like a huge ass

[EDIT] But that's not going to happen, because I'm 100% right!

In your defense, if they screw you over, it's like nothing changed at all.

And I mean that in the nicest way possible.

I'm a little slow at times, so excuse me, but did you actually talk to someone about this or is this just optimism? 'Cause my heart just can't take it if I get all excited for Merril...

This is more than optimism, but less than "a dev told me, and I quote, 'They're all bi.'" The signs are all there. It's just that no one wants to see them. Except me. Because I see all :wizard: <- that's me. I'm a wizard... er... witch? Never mind
