Calm down guys, I'm just stating an opinion. I still love DA2.

And no I don't think dating people who look younger is paedophillic, but Merrill looks really young in that picture. But I realised that's probably her in DA:O or somthing.

I can't see that being the case. Some devs (maybe gaider?) went into  a lengthy discussion about why they didn't want to do it that way. I can't see them changing their minds for DA2 especially since it was already in development when DAO came out and I doubt they would be so progressive to do such a thing when they could possibly lose potential customers over it.

Indeed, many refuse to even step across the line of "Okay, it seems like it MIGHT be true." Somehow, some folks are happier believing that all we gays get is Kelly Chambers.

I don't understand those people.

Okay wait am I looking at the wrong picture here or is there like a young and older version of her? I am confused

I don't understand the whole problem with Merrill. To me she looks at the youngest 18 anyway, but considering the game spans a decade, surely that won't be a problem by the time you get serious with her, if her romance takes a while to develop like Alistair's did (him being another virginal, 'sweet' romance).

Besides, no way is Hawke 30. That would make him/her 40 at the end of the game.

There's a reason the majority of heroes are in the 20-30 year age range. It's the most marketable and appealing to the younger gamers they're aiming for. I'd say Hawke will probably 25 at the oldest at the start of the game.

You make a good arguement I was not aware of all of that stuff. That can all be interputed ethier way so anyway if your right I want griffin feathers! I hope I'm wrong griffin feathers are worth a lot.

I do hope the Devs make them all bi optional. It'll produce more hate threads here than a bag of sticks. I can just imagine everyone jumping up and going "It makes no sense!" "not everyone is bi!" "I don't want to optionally be hit on by a girl!" "Whyyyyyyyy?!"



A part of me still thinks it is wishful thinking. Another part of me is hopeful. It would be a bold move, but in this point of Bioware's success, it certainly won't hurt their sales.
