I don't see why not, considering that Bioware has said that all your decisions from ME1 & 2 will finally come home to roost in number 3.

I just hope that the ME3 team keeps that to themselves should they decide to do it. I JUST LOVE SURPRISES!

I hope saving the galaxy is much harder that making it through the "suicide mission" in a healthy condition, so that it actually feels like an acomplishment and not just another predefined happy end which you move towards to.

I hope the threat of the reapers will be as epic as it first sounded when meeting vigil in ME1.

I supposed the way things will turn out depends on your decisions with some underlying math, similar to the suicide mission. It would be nice if playing on harder difficulties would also reduce your odds for a happy ending. The closest victory is also the most satisfying victory.

The galaxy should be in ruins at the end of the largest war since the beginning of time. No matter who wins, there should be heavy casualties on both sides.

That would be awesome.

Beat me to it.

The desperation and despair in that Protheans voice was very chilling.  Shepard doesn't even tell the squad what was said.  Fear is contageous afterall.

i would like a ending where all life is on the verge of dieing out, every one is dead and shepard makes a last mission to send the reapers back to dark space witch in sacrificing him self, and every one slowly dies(like protheans) fast fwd 30,00 years or so the new forms of life reach the citadel and explore then they make it to the presidium and bam out pops a video of shepard telling them about the reapers and how to stop them and what not,so its a lose it all ending with a little good still in there(and yes this is just the BAD ENDING there would still be a happy ending)

all is lost ending is good lol!

but also it would be awesome to have an ultra-renegade option at the end to join the reapers in destroying the galaxy and in doing so they grant you immoratality or something like that... just to have a nice twist!

or maybe we find a planet of lost/in hiding protheans on a planet and they join forces!

Hmm...there's a thought. Although I can't see even a renegade Shepard doing that as even a renegade would hate the Reapers. Still, something to ponder. :P

"it's not my problem. make sure everyone blame princess taliban and her crazy 2 stooges of annoyance. it's completely their fault. i don't have long to live. they're constantly trying to kill me by having my aegis in their possession. they hack mechs, or constantly try and sabotage my equipment or life support. i don't care. i've done what i was supposed to do, and i didn't fail because of my incompetence, yet thanks to the stupidity of others outside and inside the dreamworld. i expect to be killed any given day now, to then have these annoying cowards blame everything on me, when we all know it's their fault. problems could be easily solved if others who complain about **** just hand me tools and all, and direct me in the right direction instead of just pointlessly complaining about stupid ****.", Captain Shepard

"hey instead of me not being dressed all of the time, how about someone equip me in full heavy armor, with the proper tools most of the time? or how about people stop complaining of **** if they're not doing anything themselves, or assisting me on my behalf?", Shepard

tali = alien character who always get alot of people killed with her recklessness of being hopeless or clumsy. she has two humanoid best friens, both females (her stooges). they're a triple threat. they're always dogging docile shepard in alternate reality.:pinched: they'd only bother shepard if he's only docile, but temporarily.

^ But if Tali kills Shep in the alternate reality -> Shep will slip back into the original reality, right? So no harm done :P

I recently learned about cut phrase from the final sentence of the Harbinger, after "That which you know as Reapers are your salvation through destruction." he said.

"You will surrender your potential against the growing void."
"We return, and you will rise!"

I learned this from the subtitle file.

When you consider that the motives of the Reapers more than the destruction, if they want to help, let such a horrible way, you have to fight until the moment while you can win, but the fight to the death does not make sense. If you see that the resistance will not lead to victory, it is logical to surrender and accept the gift of greatness.
To go beyond life and death, to become someone out of time, to find the ultimate meaning of existence.

I would like to see in one of the endings Mass Effect 3 Human-Reaper said by metallic voice of Shepard: "The cycle can not be broken."

Because it would be symbolic. Shepard realizes that resistance is no longer possible, we can not win, Reapers can not be stopped and have only way - to surrender and accept the gift of the Reapers.

Reapers are not empty AI they have motives deeper than global destruction.

When millions are processed into jellies, creates a unified consciousness, but consciousness is aware of himself as a representative of the destroyed race. Accepting motives of the Reapers.
- Sovereign: "We are each a nation. Independent, free of all weakness."

For example, all religions talk about life after death, the soul abandons the body, moving to another state of being.
People believe that their life will not end after bodily death. People believe that their soul is immortal.
But nobody can find the material immortality - the bodily immortality.
Therefore, everyone scared to die, nobody knows whether there is in reality a different life.

Perhaps in the distant past Reapers did not wanted to die and have created a way to keep your consciousness in this reality, in the form of an indestructible material form, free of all weakness.
Their body has become the machine, but the consciousness remains the same.
The consciousness of living beings.

I sincerely believe that the Reapers are not ancient Skynet.

Aw, yeah, Reapers are obviously good. Funny, interesting and unusual ending. I'd buy it, well, if it's good written. From myself I'd add that if you defeat Reapers the galactic civilization may degrade in time, so after reapers war there could be an intergalactic war and eventually everyone dies in the end leading to total lack of santiant life in the galaxy. And Shep says: "We couldn't understand Reapers. They were our salvation through destruction". (In a cutscene monkey hopping on debris"

Just so long as said "All is Lost" Ending isnt based off of whether or not you played a "Paragon" or "Renegade" in regards to some of said "decisions".  Would be pretty lame of BW to do in that case because it would be like them saying "Ha ha!! You played something other than a Paragon, now suffer for it."  That'd be about the only thing that would literally ruin the entire franchise for me Image IPB

I assume there will be, kind of in the same way you can die at the end of the Suicide Mission.

I just want the survival of humanity to depend on one tiny decision you made in ME1.

Life or death of all sentient species depends solely on Conrad Verner.
