I don't know if this topic goes here or in tech help, but whatever.

So I 've finished SoA and proceeded to ToB and as the title implies, the Viconia romance sub-plot seems to have disappeared, and sinc I was really enjoying that storyline I thought I'd see if there is any way I can get it to start up again. I did my research and I seem to have done everything right, I'm supposed to get the fist dialog fairly early right? Now I've killed Sendai and it's still quiet.

I opened my saves with Shadowkeeper and both my SoA final save and my current ToB save say VICONIAROMANCEACTIVE 3, as I understand everything should be in order. Am I missing something here? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

viconiaromanceactive=3 means you are no longer a couple. Hopefully changing it to 2 would suffice to restart your romance, unfortunately however you wouldn't be able to see much of it, as it is partially bound to the plot in ToB (the meeting with the Master Shade in front of the Temple of Bhaal and the siege are both required bits of the romance)

Ah, sh*t, bummer. I can't say I feel like reloading all the way from the siege, and even then it seems like I chose the wrong option somewhere at the end of SoA. I guess I'll save it for a future playhrough. But thanks for answering ^^



Oh and, for future reference, what does ROMANCEACTIVE 1 and 2 mean? Is a higher value better or worse?

1 means the romance is in it's early stages, 2 means committed.
