Kinda what I was thinking. Being single is about as fun as sleeping on metal spikes, with sandpaper for a blanket. Being single on V-Day is even worse. So if chilling with a fictional video game character makes it better, I say go for it. 

Granted, OP is probably trolling but those are my feelings on the matter regardless.

I was single for years once. It's not that bad, and I don't get why everyone is so afraid of it. Your independence flourishes and you become a much stronger person, too.

I think the stigma of being single is quickly losing its bite.

Some people's "real girlfriends" are shallow, vapid, and totally uninspiring individuals. The OP is getting a better deal than them.

I think I celebrated valentine's day like once? maybe twice in my life? can't say I miss it any. biggest merchandising hoax ever. saw some of my favorite chocolates (Dove dark chocolate promises) on post valentine's day sale today. even at 50% off - still almost 3 times as expensive when packaged in a fancy box as the regular bag of the same exact chocolates that's sold the rest of the year.



I prefer random romantic gestures through the year, to scripted "once a year lets impress our co-workers at a watercooler" deals.

Actually, you were also using a contraction when you should have been using the possessive pronoun "their". So your sentence reads:

Nerds in they are basements defending other nerds in they are basements.

Just sayin'.

Because people who spent valentines day with fake people who don't exist need to face reality or need help/friends (internet relationships don't count).
