So recently I've gone back to the original gaming days in anticipation of DA:2 coming out so I went to the store and picked up the combo pack, Dragon Age Origins ULTIMATE EDITION. While waiting for the game to install, I logged into this socialnetwork program, went to the redeem code section and redeemed my code and began downloading everything. While I finished the downloads, I went back into the game and attempted to login to my online file on the game. I seem to stick to not even loading in, sadly, and with it.. it's not allowing me to show logged into the DAO's server, it remains showing 'Log In' in the bottom left. It's also showing all my downloadable content as unauthorized for some reasoning, which also means it's not working at all either.

Any way to get the game to allow me to login online as well as allow my DC (I got it all now) to be authorized and workable?

BTW, Ultimate Edition pre-installs all DLC, you just need to get it authorized. I'm afraid you didn't need to download it all, though I can certainly understand why you did so if you're coming from ME2 where you always have to download from here.

I don't know what this means. Please explain step-by-step what you click on and type to log in, and what error messages, if any, you get as a result.

Where you quote me from I will explain.



Upon loading the game I see that I need to log in in the bottom left of the screen. I do such, allowing the popup to show and begin email, pass and do them all correctly. When I click to 'log in' after the correct pass and email are in .. it pauses a moment and I get a very brief 'Contacting' or something like that, in regards to connecting and then it vanishes. It is there only a VERY brief moment and then it does nothing, it goes right back to showing me needing to log in. If.. (I tested this) I put in the wrong password, it tells me but the correct password it only flashes a moment before allowing me to log in.



As for the Ultimate giving all the DLC, does it include the stand alone pieces? I don't see them in the other campaigns section at all, just want to make sure as I did download those as well.



To include as well, I did my redeem code when it was installing, so the problem as well I guess is it won't allow me to log in and verify it.

Another note is when I click into downloadable content, it shows them all with a check - as unauthorized and in the bottom left it's showing me logged in. However, on the main game screen it's not showing me logged in.



P.S. I did my redeemable code while it was downloading, under this email account, the same one I keep attempting to log into in the game.

For both posters with problems, there are a lot of threads on this site concerning unauthroized DLC. Try the stickies at the top of the page, or the link in my signature line.

I've searched and searched and it seems nothing happens. I've reinstalled, I've done a few ;other' things as well that gave a temporary fix but nothing so I reinstalled again and the log in, sorta works, but it's still not authorizing anything.

Did you have a previous version of the game at some point, perhaps already installed on that computer?

Nope, actually this is a brand new computer. Basically less than two weeks old.

I would suggest going to support.ea.com and contact EA's tech support, then.

And even talking to them seems to be giving me the run around. Figures, I spend $40 and nothing gets fixed right

I actually have the same problem, kind of. If I am logged into dragon age servers, it all becomes unauthorized. When I am not logged in, it is okay. I know some of it is working though because I am able to do Witch Hunt and I have the Dragon Plate. But certain areas of the world map are missing like Honnleath. I am not sure if it is because the content is broken or because I am missing some way to unlock it on the map or what though.
