EDIT: reread article. Apparently takes place at the onset of DA2, but my last question still stands.

It'll probably be ok. Not excellent, but not bad. But think of it this way, it's not going to stop people buying DA2 who were already planning to buy it, and and it may even encourage more people to pick it up. They *may* expect Felicia Day to be in the game, and end up disappointed, but with any luck they will enjoy the game anyway, and we shall have indoctrinated another gamer into the cult of bioware.
It's my boyfriend's fault that I became indoctrinated...and I think the indoctrination is stronger in me. DAO is what started it, then I played ME1 and ME2 and will be picking up the others soon too...not to mention The Old Republic as well. When I learned that Garrus was an LI it was then that the indoctrination was complete. Does that make me pathetic? :innocent:
Now to remain on topic, I love Felicia Day and The Guild and have been a fan of the series for many years now and have been on their forums for a long time as well. I hope that this will be a great marriage for two of my loves.

Since the script was read and approbed by Bioware, one would assume so.Kimarous wrote...
From what I've read, this story takes place in Fereldan. While we know the "where," I'd like to know the "when." Does this take place during Maric's reign? Cailan's? During the Blight? Afterwards? Sometime in the Glory Age or before? If it takes during/after the Blight, will it avoid politics enough to avoid compromising player choices?
EDIT: reread article. Apparently takes place at the onset of DA2, but my last question still stands.

If you want to discuss the news, great! Please continue to do so.
If your posts can be boiled down to 'I think Felicia Day is attractive/unattractive', then this is not the place for them.

I worried that this webseries isn't going to feel much like dragon age, since bioware isn't really involved. They shouldn't give their franchise to other people.
They already have.. There's an anime series coming up soon, there are comics that have been done... And Bioware itself has published 2 novels -that are really bellow par IMHO, from a literary point of view, they dont add anything to the fantasy written works in general, but money to the franchise, that is the idea I guess-.
Moreover, if they released "hoodies", action figures and cups, its not that they re being "purists" with their creative work at all, why they woudnt "let" others "mess up " with their franchise, as long as its done with professionallism? (Im not saying the results will we "awesome", just saying the effort deserves to be respectful until we see the results...)-
