The armor isn't bad for low budget.

That one isn't bad, but Felicia Day's wardrobe looks pretty awful.

Did I hear she got Doug Jones in this? As in, "Abe Sapien" Doug Jones?

From the wiki:

Doug Jones - who is known for make-up heavy roles, like the Faun in Pan's Labyrinth or Abe Sapian in Hellboy - will make an appearance.

The series is directed by Peter Winther, whose previous work includes production duties on Independence Day and Stargate. He's also directed a few episodes of the TV show Leverage. Lost's John Bartley is the cinematographer

Alodar  :)

I have to say I think this is a great idea,  and The Guild episodes seem very popular, so being that she's in the Dragon Age trailer..it should get ALOT of attention. :)

Kudos to Marketting on this one..:)

Bioware should totally get her to voice a character in DA3.

She was actually my favorite companion in FO:NV. Which isn't saying to much but it kinda is. She does a good job at it but that games companions where kinda bleh, mostly in that the engine doesn't handle them well. And they don't actually interact or have anything to say past there own personal quest for the most part.

Anyways I'd love for her to do some kinda voice work for a character in DA game. She'd probably make an awesome City Elf rogue, she likes elves (by what I saw on the TV's) and she wouldn't need any special accent for that past how she talks. Would be awesome.

Hmm I'd have to disagree. I thought they were all well writen as characters. I really liked listening to Rauls history and trying to figure out what the hell was up with Boone.

It's probably just a box, and when i said the companions in FO:NV where kinda bleh, I didn't mean poorly written. I just mean how the game handles them. Unless you stop and talk with them they have little to no personality. They rarely comment on anything and only force-talk to you when they have there quest they want to do. It beats what other games have done with the Bethesda RPG engine but it still feels like a step back from BG2 and every other game since.

And to keep this all on topic. Felicia Day = Deliciously yumy

Not true. All human companions will comment on important story events and some of them will initiate conversation in certain locations.

hmm they don't really comment that much. The one that talked the most kept repeating the same damn lines over and over again every 10 minutes. The character Felicia Day played never said anything walking around, rarely on any quest or events. She'd say stuff after you killed things but it was the same basic canned phrases. I don't count combat dialog as actual you know...saying stuff. Its just a damn voice set.

What I mean is they didn't have stuff to say in relation to quests I was doing, they didn't generally have an opinion on most things. They never spoke up during any kind of conversations. Yeah Boone would let you know he wont follow you to Cesar for the short stint there, which was a nice touch. But I just didn't feel like the companions added anything to the experience in any meaningful ways.

I still liked em mind you just not like I do in Bioware games. In a Bioware game even if I have the choice (which you usually do, just not in ME) I always take companions with me. It's just more lively. They have banter with eachother, they have banter with you. Other then say, NWN or the original BG they've been a pretty lively bunch. DAO upped that some and DA2 looks to be upping that even more so. Maybe I'm just comparing it to much to Bioware games thats the issue but I feel like FO:NV is almost a less irritating experience by traveling solo. Which I hate to think in an RPG setting. I think thats more of the engine then anything else though, combat was a bit clunky with em unless you basically set your self up to let Boone auto-kill everything. Which in and of its self bored me so I rarely took him anywhere.

Veronica actually does comment when you visit certain areas connected to technology, it's how you trigger her quest. In the BoS bunker, she even banters with her fellow BoS members. Similarly, Arcade will spontaneously initiate dialogue when you visit areas connected to the Enclave.

Both Cass & Raul comment a lot and even ask questions if you talk to them as the story unfolds. Boone is largely a closed book, but he's meant to be that way.

Like I said Virumor, its rare. Its a big game, theres a lot of walking around. And with a companion, depending on the one they may comment on some stuff but its 'rare'. You only get 1. The little floating robot that randomly prompts you due to a sort of extended quest related thing is just that, his 1 quest related thing. I think its interesting how it was implemented but still. They don't bring as much life into the game as I would of wanted. As simple as that, I get just as much fun playing with out them as I do with em, except with em they get in the way of the combat more often then not.
