Also, here LOTR reference makes sense. Has no one ever compared the imagery for the Battle of Ostagar to the Battle of Helm's Deep?

People, take it from somebody who's been interviewed before (thankfully nowhere on this sort of thing, obviously, but still.) YOU FEEL LIKE A MORON, at least the first time. The fact that she was able to be that coherent on that kind of television is a testament to her level of awesome (and experience in the industry.) If the people on these forums were interviewed on live television about Dragon Age, I guarantee, about 99% of us would say nothing more intelligent than, "Uh, there are... uh, dragons and stuff. And ages. Yeah. It's like, really cool and you can be a mage...er..." Some of us wouldn't even get THAT far. Because talking to your friends or your bathroom mirror is not the same as being interviewed in front of an audience knowing what you did can be seen by people everywhere for as long as the internet exists.
Redemption looks pretty cool. Could just be trailer magic, but I'm definitely going to check it out.
Do not attribute your failings to other people. Generalizations aside, I'm sure 99% of us is more intelligent than you.

Still, I can't really say it looks like LARP. From my admittedly minor interactions with Live Action Role Players, none of them have looked anything like Felicia Day.

Of course they have, but they are fanboys. They block it out because it can't be!!!

Agreed! Not only that but the elf ears look retarded and are more distracting than anything else and turns me off from it even more.Dubya75 wrote...

What, you were expecting multimillion dollar sets and special effects from a web series? That's a little unrealistic, don't you think?
Little more than a fan flick...not interested.

Im scared. It looked bad like a highschool project not done with love, but whatever. Im not even sure who she is or why this is big news. It's not BIoware so I expect the worst.
Ah, I see you need to educate yourself on who Felicia Day is.
I suggest starting with The Guild.
Then maybe watching her Cheetos commercial.
Then some
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
Then know that she is a huge gamer and loves Dragon Age and was actually green lighted this through BioWare (Always wonder why people think that BioWare is not involved in this somehow). Heck, she is said to know as much about Dragon Age as BioWare, so the devs say...
That said, it will be a slightly cheesy, well-produced, and pretty accurate Web Series from a semi-well known actress who loves games and Dragon Age. Oh yeah, Felicia Day is really cute too.

However I WAS disappointed by the trailer. I hope it's just because they released really early footage and it won't be representative of the final product.
Instead of complaining though, I decided to go ahead and shoot my own Dragon Age live action short on no budget (I'm getting into the film industry so I know what I' doing). We literally finished principle photography 2 days ago. Here's the trailer:
(rest assured there's a very strong, well-acted storyline that I think can do Dragon Age justice, not just a string of fight scenes)
To clarify, I'm not trying to compete with Felicia Day or infringe upon Bioware material in any way. I'm just a really, really passionate fan of the game and wanted to show my support of the universe.
