Me too.  I never kill off characters just because I don't care for them.  I'll work very hard to keep them all alive.   They did a good job with ME1 I was able to rationalize leaving either one - and I did leave my LI, and I didn't mind ME2 becuase I could save them if I worked at it.  On the whole,I don't care for sacrifices.  

If I'm going to kill off one of my companions I'd much rather it be like Zev where they attack me for some reason and I can decide wheter or not to keep them with me, tell them to leave or kill them.

Well we all know Varric doesn't die. What a shame, I never liked dwarves... 

I'm gonna have to go with Aveline or Fenris, my two least favorites. If I'm tanking for the party I don't need Aveline. If I'm a mage or rogue I don't need Fenris around.

Or like when Verric finishs his story Hawke jumps in a window and yells something like "YOU KNOW TOO MUCH!" And leaves him in a headless state and jumps out a window once more. Actully that seems likely given unless Hawke is dead he'ld be a head of state, I doubt he'ld just allow someone who knew all about him (or her) to just spill the beans like it was story time around the campfire.

So yes Verric, that traitorous swine.

One to sacrifice/kill would definitely be Merril . . . she just bothers me on some deep down level. I definitely don't want to kill or sacrifice Anders or Aveline because I just like them a whole bunch!
