i don't think we have enough information to have a informed decision, but from the Codex i agreed with the Aquerian, but with more freedom, the mages needed to be trained, but to be imprisoned is a little to much.

so from this thread we learn 3 things

1: elves and their supporters have massive victim mentalities still clinging to the oldways unwillling to move forward and try and forge a new relationship they had a shot untill the Dales

2: Mages need to Rebel and this thread makes it clear our lives are at stake! REBELS, note how mages dont hate non magic folk, we look down on them and pitty them.................. also we wish to rule them for their own good do away with superstition and enlighten them......................... note also mages are not racist everyone will be treated according to their natural abilties
MAGES
^
non mages*

3: Male Mages wear dresses however they are allowed as everyone else is to scared to bag them out other then in hussed tones in quiet places where they are sure theres alot of templars and no mages

*non magic folks will have no rights and shall follow all instructions from magic folk at all times non magic's lives may be forfeit for the benefit of magic at moment!

Humans suck, I hope we can let them all die. They're simply too dangerous and warlike to allow to exist.

Mages cannot be allowed to roam free.

The circle is like a mix between a boarding school and prison.

They certanly have more freedom than any prison I know...they can go to any area (except the basement) and do whatever they want with their time.

Keep them there I say. Killing them wouldn't accomplish anything.

Actually according to your own logic killing them accomplishes alot. You want to imprison them because it is saver than to let them roam. Same counts for killing them. Kill them, best when they are still children, and nobody needs to suffer from mages. Keeping them in a tower just gives demons the chance to do what they did in the circle tower of ferelden.

^This
"Horses are sneaky animals", that's my motto..^_^

I personally love mages, so I wouldn't kill them just because they were mages, I don't plan on killing Templars either just because they are templars. I'm mostly neutral but stray a little towards the "pro-mage" side. :wizard:

All are equal in the sight of the Maker, you know. He wouldn't be happy with the plan to off a bunch of mages.
I think all of Ferelden should be ruled by casteless dwarves. Yeah. Posted Image

Give the mages their freedom, then spike the punch bowl at the mage freedom party that will follow with raw lyrium ore.

The nation of Rivain, the Dalish clans, and the Chasind tribes don't agree.

It's a prison that provides some educational opportunities and it's a place where you can be given a lobotomy or killed without having the power to contest the matter or have the First Enchanter even see the evidence in question to determine that there's any actual evidence in question.

I hope there is a choice to hunt down all mages. I also hope there is a choice to destroy the chantry. i'm hoping for choices that have big impacts in this game.

Being a mage is probaly genetic so if you sterilize them, then in a few generations there numbers will be greatly reduced.

I hope we can kill all armed people (including guards). They're simply too dangerous to live.

Well magic affinity can be inherited as the family of the Hawkes proves, but many mages are born from normal partents. So there is no way, and also it is a proof that it is natural as any other talent.

Sweet. I was wondering if someone was going to make an anti mage thread, considering there are so many threads against templars and the chantry.
