Just wanted to pop in and say that I am sorry you devoted fans didn't get a Varric romance.  I was really sure he was going to be an LI, but I guess I was wrong. 

But perhaps Varric is too manly(Dwarfly?) and interesting for a romance.  Perhaps the writers were afraid of too many people always romancing Varric and ignoring everybody else. 

As for me, I am interested in all the companions so far, so I would have been OK with any combination of LI's.  It is sad that Varric and Aveline aren't romances, but they could be all the more intriguing because of it.

The problem with managing the Varric Thread OP is that there's constantly lots of beautiful/funny/awesome artwork from all quarters, Aimo, Pseudo, Emorah, Aristorum, Fishmas... and then the occasional "guest artists"...



It has been an honour but wow, the only place to keep them managed is the Varric FanClub... And that one is missing many artworks as well...



I still want a Dwarf hero in DA3 because... yeah. Then Varric as an LI. Also, it will stop people from going "I can't romance a dwarf because human-dwarf ewww". Additionally, by then The Hobbit would be out I think, and dwarves would be cool. And I want to hear Brian Bloom and Natalia Cigliuti talking to each other romantically!!!!!!!

@Calla: Loving Varric Fabio, it really is shocking how well it fits. I've seen people say Varric wasn't written to be a LI from the start, but if not they still managed to make one of the most perfect examples of Dwarf smexyness there has ever been.

Just to let everyone know, I'm working on updating the OP. Any links that are not working (and I'm checking & double checking them) will be removed. I'm also trying to get the links updated to a description of what they actually link to. Along with that, I'm grouping all the art links by their respective artist. It's going to take me quite a while. And I'm still working with my bum mouse, so have patience!
