Varric isn't a romance option for the protagonist because he's already romancing YOU. That's right, through the screen. Working. As. Intended.
I am okay with this

Huh, I can actually imagine Varric going through Hawke's whole family before finally getting to her.Pseudocognition wrote...

Hawke: Varric, we've been through much together and have had some great times. Will you marry me?
Varric: I am sorry, but I can not.
Hawke: Why? Surely I love you?
Varric: True.
Hawke: And surely you feel for me as well!
Varric: That is also true, but I am already in love.
Hawke: With who Varric? My sister again? My cousin? Carver?
Varric: No Hawke, this time I'm with yo mama!
Hawke: Gasp!
Cassandra: Gasp!

I wonder if Carver is the douche that Chris Priestly said he didn't want in his party anymore?
I think it's down to Carver or Fenris. I hope it's Merrill xD

You lucky dog, Varric.

oh did the other thread finally die? what count was it up to?
The OP was unable to maintain the first post due to school and other matters, so we requested that the old one be closed and a new one opened with someone who had time for upkeep. It seemed an appropriate time as any to do that xD

Since I'll be with my family over the long weekend I doubt I'll have time to do anything, but next week someone remind me and I'll try to adapt this monstrosity. (Don't the poses just work so well??)

I'm seriously loving the Stone Heartbreaker novels! If I could draw, I'd do a really horrible Carver/Varric version.
And I would title it: Carved in Stone.

wounder what the Bethany novel would be titled? AH HA To stone a mage. it's a clever title and well it's the only one Cassandra can get past the revered mother.

I wonder how far off it would be to say that perhaps Merrill collects and reads these?

Amazing. Carver is gazing deep into my soul, his expression worth a thousand words. If Varric really is romancing us IRL (!!) then it would explain why I get the strange feeling of having been in Carver's position before. @_@

It's supposed to be Cass but I suppose it's hard to tell if she's not glaring at you.

I spend a lot of time admiring Cassandra's outfit in this one. I'm always impressed when artists take the extra time to put the extra details like that. Really does lead an air of authority to her even though she's putty in Varric's arms! <3LessThanKate wrote...

Well, then she wouldn't be such a "virginial girl next door", would she? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Yep. Because if you read about sex in a book, you've lost your virginity in the real world.LessThanKate wrote...
