So... as I was running through the proving arena in Orzammar I came across a dwarf named Varric. So... is this the Varric or just a dwarf with the same name?

No, that was Varick.

In short; no. The Proving Fan Varick mentions he is of the Miner Caste and besides, he looks nothing like Varric. But good eye, I've also noticed it.

Here's an idea:
If you can see Varric and Bianca, they can see you. If you can't see them, you've a few seconds to live.

Although i normally don't like dwarfs (grubby smelly humourless little dirt-diggers ), i really could make an exception with this one...

He got humour, no beard (with the food remnants of the whole week), seems to take care of his looks, and i got the gut-feeling that you can count on him if something goes downhill.

Phewww...alright. Hey, everybody! After having played the demo and gone through pages and pages of these threads, I am pretty much fully wrangled into adoring Varric. And since I do a lot of drawing, I will...most likely be doing a lot of fanart. After showing this one to my good friend Calla, I asked if I should put it here and she agreed!
