It might just be me, but I would buy a 1:1 replica of Bianca if Bioware sold one. Or even a T-shirt that said "Say hello to Bianca" with Varric on the front.

Varric is the best. The Trusty Dwarf bit stole the thought from my head. I'd deffinately pay for a Bianca model; I'd even really shell out for a full scale one. Imagine a full scale working Bianca!

While I'm unfortunately not on the Varric hotness boat, reading a couple of posts about it put a big imaginary fanart pic in my head: Varric's hands on either side, pulling open his coat, featuring his mane of chest hair with "I (heart) U" shaved into it.

I want to start a rumor because David's answer to making Hawke's mum a perma-kill made me laugh.

Play-testers always chose Varric. That's why they made him un-romancible..

Yay, the best mission ever! I always say Varric owns Chuck Norris any time.

The idea of naming Hawke Bianca is great, I've heard it before. Varric saying all these lovely things about Hawke.. mmm.. 3rd playthrough it is.

And I would totally buy the shirt/crossbow if it came to stores.

The Hawke's mission about her/his mother was creepy. But Varric shooting that Gascard guy with "What? You were going to do that, right?" was priceless.

I wonder.. were there any more 'flirting' options with Varric? Other than the one in his apology after the visit in Fade (if he was the one to betray you)? I almost missed it and had to re-load because I had Fenris in party. So have I missed anything else? I mean, even Aveline has more flirting options than Varric. *pouts*

I hear you. I laughed out loud at that. Varric is IMO the best character in the whole DA universe. When he flirted with my Lady Hawke I was all "Oooooooooh, Bioware, why won't you give me some dwarf love!"!!!! Then again, nobody can replace Bianca.

Varric is incredible as a character. I just wished there was a story about how Bianca got her name   

In any event, his character was genius. Funny, smart and the way he used his contacts to protect the other companions really warmed my... frosty, stone-wall of a heart.

I really don't think there's anything I can add that hasn't been said a hundred times. One of my favorite characters and one of two companions that never left my party on the first playthrough  

His epilogue to the story was brilliant, and I memorised it to be honest:

"You still hear the stories, of course. With each telling they grow, even if, at the core remains the truth. A new legend had been born..."

I saw someone say that when Anders was romanced, it triggered a conversation between Hawke and Varric, in which it was reported that a heart icon was available to the tune of "Are you jealous?" (I have not gotten this far in the Anders romance myself so I cannot say.)

Now there's also a thread in which Mary Kirby confirms that Varric is supposed to approach Hawke for the other love interests as well, not just Anders. I assume that there should be a heart icon available during those conversations if this gets addressed in the next patch.

So, after Anders does that thing in Act 3 i've decided at last moment to swap Varric out for Carver, both to make sure the storyteller actually lives to tell the tale and because well, Carver.

But then in the final fight out of sudden i hear the oh-so-familiar

"bam, bam, bam. bam, baMF!"

so i swing the camera around, and who is there, laying down the cover fire:

Yes, it only is the 'sarcastic', not the 'flirt' option. Still, it is
one of my favorite conversations with Varric (now that I know it doesn't
work for other LIs, I'm glad I choose Anders), although a bit sad because I was more like "I don't want a bloody mage, Varriiiic, I want you!" Ah, well...


I also liked how everyone helped in the end. After seing Zevran, I was secretly hoping for Alistair to appear as well. Still, the cameos were a very nice addition.

LOL, this never gets old. I had to reload that part of "On the Loose" quest like 10 times in a row. First, because it's pure awesome, and second because I couldn't hear Varric's "kekeke" the first few times for laughing too hard myself.

It's similar for Lady Hawke, except instead of that 'damned irresistible' line, he says: "It's the chest hair, isn't it? Women can never resist my chest hair. Unfortunetaly, it's not to be. I'm spoken for." F!Hawke then continues with: "Bianca stands in my way, does she?" and Varric replies: "What can I say? She's the jealous type."

I hope there are more, this is the only one I found

@Gilsa /offtopic Is that Sigrun's helmet your PC in the avatar wearing? I love Sigrun. If my Brosca had a choice to join the Legion instead of the Wardens, she'd gladly "die" with Sigrun in the Deep Roads. Oh well, Galadriel Brosca left for Antiva, to kick her elven lover's ass XD

@TriviaAeducation -- It's the Thane Helmet from the Wilds in Origins.  (There's a mod called "Upgrade Wand" that will allow you to change the tier of the helmet if you want a different color such as silverite or dragonbone, fyi.) I've never swiped Sigrun's helmet off of her -- seemed like blasphemy to do so! =D I share your squee for her -- she had a profound impact on my Brosca because of her willingness to be better even though she didn't owe anyone anything.

And LOL@ the Old Spice animated gif. That's funny.

@Gilsa okay that makes sense... I took Sigrun's helmet off because i want to see her face XD tattoos are awesome... Zevran should have body tattoos, instead he got himself default inkless skin ;_;
