I don't always love dwarves, but when I do ... I go for Varric's chest hairs...

Varric maybe the only dwarf character that made me love dwarves.... Usually I'm an elf person, but ... *sigh* I love Varric. He is awesome.

I might FREAK OUT if there isn't atleast ONE dwarf to bump uglies with in DA3.

I cast like, 999,999,999,999 votes for Varric, of course, duh. BUT ANY (just as charismatic and drool-worthy as my Merchant Prince, please) DWARF WILL DO. What's wrong with you people, we can get down and nasty with creatures that could slice your face off with one mandible (*cough* Garrus *cough) but yet you totally HOE US OUT on the dwarven lovin'?!

And then to rub salt in the wound you give us VARRIC TETHRAS to stare at throghout our whole miserable existence spent running from suitors like Anders. Shenanigans.

*sighs*

However I still love Dragon Age, and Mass Effect, and numerous other Bioware games and will continue to drop unnecessary amounts of money to own anything they spit out that has anything to do with the games I fell for.

Oh, and I'm not bashing Anders, I romanced him my very first playthrough (and wanted to smack the crap outta him at the end of said playthrough), but I am one of those hardy DA:A Anders fans. BRING BACK THE CHARM, BLONDIE! Or slit your wrists and be done with it, emo.

 I absolutely loved this dwarf in DA II, his humour and attitude to the world was simply brilliant, to me he is one of the bast made - hmm he IS the best made character in the game. Not sure I want him as an LI, although... (*gives it a second thought*) but I definitelly want him as a companion. I'd cry myself to sleep without my little dwarf in DA III

Hey guys! I've wanted to post here for a few weeks, but been so busy lately. The pics on this page utterly rock. :-O... x.x...
He simply has to be in DA3 or it would be the most tragic moment in gaming history (even more so than ME3 ending ).

Anyway, I wanted to let you know about a DA2 fic I've recently discovered. It may still be 'in progress' (which was why I put off reading it) but the author finishes all his stories and updates regularly so it's definitely worth it. It's basically about a very interesting and complicated female rogue Hawke and follows the game's story. BUT, what I really love is how the author adds his own twists and details, and generally makes the story interesting, while making it very realistic at the same time. Same goes for the characters. And yes, Varric is no exception; I'll even say it's one of the best written Varrics I've seen (which says a lot considering how much attention he's given) and sometimes wonder if Mary hasn't been beta-reading it. And lastly, my shipper heart is having a blast during the Varric/Hawke convos.

Seriously, just give it a try, like I did, and you'll see for yourself:

I've sort of been movie-stalking Varric's VA in the past few months. So if there's any other Brian Bloom admirer out there, here are a few pieces from my personal collection.

As Brock Pike from The A-Team. And I believe he was the best and coolest character there.




As Demos from Vampirella. If you're wondering, yes, it was that bad. But the screens and vampire!VarricBrian were worth it.

I didn't know that that was the voice of Varric in The A-Team. I also just found out that he voiced Keiji Okuda in ME2.
