Big ups for apologizing M_arc.
Anyway, you all are wrong! Why? Because this is so not related to DA:0.
DA:0 will not be released to the Mac OS, and both Macs and Pcs should do fine running DA:0 with windows.
Will DA:O Get a Mac Release?

I dont think ive ever seen such a heated debate on teh internets be civilly solved by the two parties alone, in such a politeful manner. +10 internets to the Mac and PC guys.

Now that we, mac user, can dual boot and then have the best of both world, there is less and less games
ported natively on osX.
BTW before that, we had to wait at least for one year for the game to be anounced and ported and those ports
where not made "in house" exept for Blizzard.
So even if i doubt we ever to see a mac port, wait a long time and see...
On that mater, i would like to thank bioware people for the unofficial support to the mac and linux users back to those good old days of NWN especialy for the add on's.

I just noticed I still have my mac copy of BGII sitting on the shelf... © 2000! It's a bit dusty. Hmmm, I wonder if I'll be playing DA:O in 2020?

edit: guess so, as a Cider port xD
It'll probably run worse on OSX than Windows with the same hardware, since it's a Cider port (which is barely a step up from WINE). How fast is your buddy's Mac?

Cider ports are usually absolutely okay. Not as fast as the Windows version for obvious reasons, but nevertheless, cidered games like CoD4, Sims, Spore etc. are perfectly playable on the Mac.
Also, DA will run on all recent Macs, including the lowest end Mac Mini, although the 9400M will certainly limit the eyecandy a lot.
I'm still using Bootcamp tho.

I have an older mac 10.39 os ( i'm not a comp person ). I never game on it. I have and love DA on ps3, but as an old school p&p d&d player, i would love to experience the baulders gate series and PS:T too because i've heard these were the best d&d video games ever created. Can anyone help me out ?
