Hello!

I have recently  installed NWNX and SimTools 3, and when I tried the demo module, the server crashes when I try to speak another language (example: I change to !speak elven, then when I say something, it crashes).

I have made some research and have noticed that more people have problems with the languages not working.

Please, can someone tell me what is wrong or hint me in the right direction.

I use Windows 7 - 64 bit

Thank you :)

/T

I was never able to get the languages to stay on a PC as well so I ended up going to another system. Will be watching this thread with intrest as the SimsTools are awesome and would love to figure out a way to make them stay on a player or item the player carries.

Out of curiosity; what system did you decide on?

I used MadRabbit's Player Chat Commands instead of Sims in the new upcoming remake and then added in both Language System: No More Voices and Language Teacher for PC's though on our PW we still use Funkys Sims and I am thinking of porting out his DM stuff that you can do as a player.

I use Simtools, a release from back 2 years if not more ago.

Works fine for me.

If your server is crashing - then it sounds like you are using an incorrect version of the nwnx_chat - which Simtools relies upon.

Native nwnscript is not normally capable of crashing a server, the culprit would likely be a nwnx extension - check your simtools installation - and that you have the correct nwnx_chat plugin.

Baaleos: I suspect the problem is Win7 64bit. I have the latest version of the nwnx_chat plugin (0.3.4.0). :(

Sorry for the delay in responding - RL is keeping me busy. Looks like that is indeed the newest win version (linux has a .5). Do you have anything in your chat event? That could be causing conflicts with the fky_chat script, which is your de facto chat event if you're using nwnx_chat with SIMTools.
