Be nice! I know this idea sounds crazy and it probably is!! But...What if you could choose whether or not your Shephard has children by the end of the trilogy? And not really "children" but at least like mentorship or something. At first I was thinking "literally" but then I edited the topic since the more I thought about it, the more it sounded like a dumb idea. It may be interesting for a maleshep to find out the girl he laid is expecting right before the final battle however. I can only envision that with maleshep though. Might make the ending more epic.

But this is the option I think is the most practical for both genders:

- You can rescue a very young child that's a genetically enhanced and/or a heavy biotic or savvant on a child trafficing mission and choose adopt them later or just keep mentoring them or whatever else (like distancing yourself from the character). Though this might be interesting because you can interact with them on the ship and shape their behavior to resemble the commander's as a paragon or a deranged renegade killer which, should there be a spin off game, would make it interesting if they were the main character because in a sense, they are an extension of your character (in terms of their background)...minus all of the thousands of situation variables that would make it impossible to continue the series with Shephard. I can't remember the name of the character that inspired this but it was a guy who was given an autistic girl with powers by the Illusive Man, claiming she was the hope for the galaxy....argh why can't I remember...
