I bought DA:O late last year and was stunned to find that there were many bug, some very major, still in the game. I had to resort to using player made mods to fix them.
For example:
The dreaded mine bug in Awakening. This is game breaking in my book. How can the Devs not fix this yet? It obviously can be fixed as someone did it for them.
The missing boots for the Ancient set of Elven armor. I would love to have that set of armor, but without a player made mod I would never get it because of a bug that was never fixed. Again it must be easily fixable since a player did if for them with a mod.
If I went through the list on the unofficial patch made by players it makes me want to pull my hair out (what's left of it).
So we know how well the Devs work on and care about game bugs. Who's going to fix these if we don't get the toolkit. Honestly this is one of my biggest concerns about the toolkit. I mean sure having new hairstyles is nice, but having a game working like it's supposed to is much better. Can we trust the Devs to actually read our complaints about bugs and actually fix them this time?
If no Toolset who fixes the game?
