im sorry but i saw the trailer and im disappointed to say that its looks real cheap and yes i know its a web series but the show ''the sanctuary'' started off as a web series too and it managed it do it without looking cheap...
They are web series and webisode webisode are typically very low budgeted and indies so i wouldnt expect all that its not gonna be some multi million dollar epic production webisode typicalyl take a cult following

I wonder why Felicia Day's elven rogue character has a Qunari symbol on her, does she follow the Qun?
Maybe she just stole the armor from someone else?
Anyway, I'm glad Felicia Day is so successful, I think everyone deserves to be successful
Not really a fan of any of her videos, but I did enjoy her voice in FO:NV, she did a good job with that.
Her elf character is working as a tracker for the Qunari, which might be why her armor has that symbol on it. Maybe they put it on her so they'd recognize her as working for them so they won't attack her accidently?
That's odd, since when does the Qunari ever hire outsiders? Their entire society and philosophy is based on special breeding for every purpose and every task they require. They don't even hire people to hunt down Tal-Vashoth, their most hated enemies, because they consider it their own job to do so.
Fenris is from Seheron, which is apparently contested territory between Tevinter and the Qunari. Also I think somewhere in the lore it says that there are elves (perhaps native to Seheron? Escaped/captured slaves from Tevinter and/or their descendants?) that have been taken into the Qunari culture and are recognized as citizens, have their own place/role in the Qun, etc. etc.
It sounds like she's a big fan of the series and put a lot of thought into the script- it'll be interesting to see how she incorporates the lore/canon of the game. As for it being on a budget/cheap-looking armor, etc; it's not a Hollywood blockbuster made by a major studio with bajillions of dollars to throw around. It's entertainment and a damned effective marketing tool. If you don't like it, then you spend 3 months researching the game, write a great script, get your own crew together, and write a proposal to EA/Bioware and produce/film/edit your own webseries.
Can't blame Bioware for cashing in on Day's success and popularity within the gaming community- they're savvy marketers. But at least we have a gamer girl who adores the series doing her best to honor the universe that millions of us have come to love. I'd rather have that, some good story/dialogue, and flimsy costumes, than have a big-budget film made by people who don't care about the community and are solely trying to make a profit selling a crappy product packaged in fancy special effects/costumes (D&D movie, anyone?)
Keep an open mind, yeah?

Why make her an elf at all, she's not exacty the petite, weird-nose thingies we see in DA2
(She is awesomely cute though)
Yeah, what is up with the elf models in DAII? Somewhere between Origins and II they all got Voldemort style snake noses.

I wonder if they'll put modelling putty on her face to give her that odd DA2 elven nose-ridge/brow thing?
And CGI to enlarge the eyes, of course.
