"Victory in the queue"? God, if I didn't know better, I'd swear you were British.

Fancy a cuppa, luv? It'll set you to rights, it will. I say, jolly good and all that rot.

There better be Dwarves with Scottish accents.

I'd settle for seeing some lady dwarves. <_<

@V: And what's wrong with American dwarves?

Sigrun cameo with longer hair for DA: Redemption! Image IPB

Scottish Dwarves just fits so much better. Stereotypical Dwarves be damned, it works and is awesome! I think the Dwarves that live in the Deep Roads should have Scottish accents, and topsider Dwarves should have American (or other regional depending on locale) accents.

It's Hercules/Xena Cheese all over again, but not in a good way........

She's one dimensional actress, which I like that dimension, but honestly, I've seen her attempt the other dimensions, yah..

Dude, are you just copy-pasting your comments from Youtube onto this forum? Because those exact same words are listed in the comments for the Redemption trailer, and it's by a guy named JJDemon.

It looks so cheap it makes me cry.
As always, Dragon Age is like the ugly sister, while Mass Effect gets a feature film with Legendary Pictures, Dragon Age gets...what? A low-budget Xena-style mess with Felicia Day?
I'll pass.

Its Fan-Made though..
Should watch Wardens Fall, that didn't have a budget I dont think and it was freaking Awesome =D.. Used DAO's engine

Qun.

Yeah, there's one known "excerpt" from the Qun --can't remember if it's from game itself or if Mary Kirby gave it in one of the threads-- and they're using it throughout the trailer.

Shok ebasit hissra. Meraad astaarit, meraad itwasit, aban aqun. Maraas shokra. Anaan esaam Qun.

(Struggle is an illusion. The tide rises, the tide falls, but the sea is changeless. There is nothing to struggle against. Victory is in the Qun.)

That's the prayer recited by Sten when you first encounter him in Lothering.

Any chance this (Redemption) will be available over XBL and/or PSN?

I get such a "Conan the Destroyer" vibe from this trailer.

They're just missing out on Wilt Chamberlain.:wizard:

It's the same mantra as the one Sten says when you pass his cage the first time in Lothering, except Sten says it in qunari.

Shok ebasit hissra. Meraad astaarit, meraad itwasit, aban aqun. Maraas shokra. Anaan esaam Qun.

There are some things that puzzle me though, how can Tallis be qunari? She is a woman and she fights in battle, which is against the Qun. Is she Tal-Vashot or something?

I decided to look it up. Awesome job on Warden's Fall, no doubt. They could've easily made a tv series or like. It's really impressive, even using some of the existing character animations like they did.

Did you guys see Tallis? It was pretty awesome sauce. Felicia Day can probably do this. If they cut down on intro and credits time a bit...

I'm surprised I've not seen any real chatter about this yet, it's been available for hours!

I really liked it. It's a little heavy on the ads and credits and such for such a short episode, but overall it was very well done. Especially for what it is.

I highly recommend checking it out.

Since when the Chantry's name changed to the Church? Whoops? I read that on the intro and was wondering if they saw that little mistake.

So is it just me, or have they made actually watching the damn thing more difficult than need be? I can't find a link to the actual video anywhere. (Although work's firewall and DNS setup tend to make some things disappear of certain pages.)

BioWare doesn't seem to be doing much (other than their initial announcements way back when) to promote the series that I've noticed.

But Felicia Day has been promoting the heck out of it and that's how I found it.

6.

Here's a fun video of Felicia announcing it (and trying some Colbert style comedy?)

So when do we expect the next episode?

(Quanari not looking so buff is a limitation of not having a multi-million dollar budget, and using human actors.)

Heres the actual definition of chantry I found on google

An endowment for a priest or priests to celebrate masses for the founder's soul.A chapel, altar, or other part of a church endowed for such a purpose. So people that do not belong to the Chantry can refer to it as a church.

In case anyone is on Google+ and wants the chance to webchat with Felicia Day, she's jumping between Hangouts for the next two hours or so.

Just watched it and was fairly pleased. Not bad. Not *great,* but not bad for the budget limitations it appear to have. The acting was about on par with most quality Fan-Made Web Seires, and Felicia, I think, nailed it. She's really created, and plays true to form, a fun and sexy character. Although the costumes could of used some work (they *really* could not afford one or two suits of genuine armor to tweak for the Templars?) they were really rather good, especially Tallis. Speaking of which, nice twist with the name. So, basically, it's a whole "The Sten," thing. Lastly, really loved that quasi-live action shot of Kirkwall. Kind of nerded out a bit on that one. Overall, this series has alot of potential and it's definantly a mature step up for Ms. Day from her Guild and Eureka characters. Nicely done.
