I'm working on my main dragon age playthrough (I got all DLC, on the 360 unfortanately...I'm poor to get a decent PC for it XD) and at the moment I'm kind of lost as to what I should do... in terms of my stats and skills.

Just for reference I plan on palying Awakening and then Golem's of An-somrthing and then Witch Hunt with this warden.

Level 15 Mage with the Spec's being Blood mage and Spirit Healer (oddly I don't plan on healing...Wynne is on that duty, didn't know what other spec to pick and I wasn't going shape-shifter or AW)

Str: 13
Dex:14
Willpower : 27+7 (34)
Magic: 44+4  (48)
Cunning: 21
Consistution: 25+2 (27)

My skill tree's are set up as follows.

Mage:
Arcane Bolt - Arcane Shield

Spirit Healing:
N/A

Blood Mage:
Blood Magic - Blood Sacrifice - Blood Wound

Primal:
All cold Spells
Lightning

Creation:
Healing (for the one offs I need to do)

Spirit:
Mind blast all the way to Crushing Prison

Entophy:
Weakness - Paralyze - Miasma
Vulnerability Hex
Drain Life

That's everything I got...I'm just wondering what I should do and focus on getting in the next few levels (Cureently working on getting the Dwarven treaty sorted and then the Elven treaty, already done the circle and redcliff (Arl Eamon is fully recovered after I got the ashes and beat the high dragon! :D)

Have a good look at these. I'd go for 'Entropic death' from where you are now but 'Storm of the Century' does the highest damage.

p.s.
Grats on killing the dragon... you did grab the scale yes?

depends on your playstyle preferences really

if you wanna be virtually invincible grab arcane warrior instead of spirit healer since you arent using it anyway. with shimmering shield/arcane shield/rock armor as buffs and some good heavy/massive armor on you wont really die

use blood magic to offset all that fatigue and MAKE SURE you have one of the items that "improves blood magic"

if that sounds appealing i can give you more details if you want, otherwise idk what to tell you cuz thats how i always do it :-P

I strongly recommend getting Spell Wisp, and then the entire Mana Alteration tree.

Personally I never choose a second specialization after Blood Mage at level 7. it is a very strong specialization and after a few strong spells combinations you will be doing crazy damage.

Blood Wound a must  and cast it first at the mobs, then Affliction Hex to get an AOE debuff, and then either Walking Bomb or Fireball. Turn off Blood Magic, and Drain Life on whom ever is left.

Mana Clash is a one hit killer of Mages, can achieve massive damage this way.

Spell Wisp, and Spell Might increase spellpower and to explain how to further increase the effect of these two here.

As an example here is my mage, no party required especially in Awakening (+Keeper, and Battlemage specializations).

Sadly once you hit 999,999 damage dealt then your contribution to party damage starts going down even if you solo the whole game, weird but that's what happened to me.

Thanks for the imput, but I'm avoiding the AW route as I'm very traditonal when it comes to my mage and that being a pure spell caster and not one that'll stack up sustainables and use blood magic most of the time for me mage and heavy/massive armour just don't seem to mix XD

Go for glyph of repulsion. It's a great line to begin with but paralysis explosion makes it all the sweeter.

Mana clash is amazing. I've heard great things about earthquake (though I never could convince myself to try it out...) and the hexes are supposed to be really good. I could certainly see paralysis explosion followed by aoe debuff and a fireball tossed in the mix.

Anyway, there are a ton of amazing spells out there.

A quickie note to everyone.
