I think I read that the Silver Surfer was actually programmed but they removed him from the final build of the game because they said he looked too much like the Iceman.

I never heard of that. I know they were toying around with the idea of including him, but they couldn't figure out a way to incorporate the surfboard into gameplay.

Though I've heard in addition to Jill and Shuma, there's some placeholder data on the disc for both Frank West and Elektra.

Frank West I could totally see happening. I think the game should have at least one female villain though. If Carnage is out of the question, are there any other female villains in the Marvel universe?

I have a strong feeling that Ghost Rider is going to be a new dlc character. My reason is when Dante win the arcade mode, Ghost Rider makes an appearance. I also might expect Daredevil (Chris's ending) and Phoenix Wright (She-Hulk makes a reference about how somebody called her the female verison of him)

Love the game, hate the current state of netplay, but Capcom is fixing it.  Hopefully they'll patch inspectator mode one day too.

Well, they were aiming to make it
friendlier to the casual gamer. I can't remember a Capcom fighter
outside of the original Street Fighter that had so few attack buttons.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom arcarde cabs only have 4 buttons.

What are your guys' team so far. My team has been Super Skrull and Amaterasu. My third teammate is up in the air right now but I have been lean torwards Iron Man mostly because I find him to be very balanced

Dante and Zero are amazing. I'd round out that team with either Akuma or Super-Skrull.

One thing that I don't like about fighting games is having to memorize a large number of button combinations in order to play effectively. Fortunately, I think Marvel VS Capcom 3 has nailed the easy to pick up, difficult to master gameplay formula really well.



Captain America, Iron Man, and Wolverine make a great team.

Playing online all I ever see is Dante and Zero and it is start to ****** me off especially when I don't have a fightstick.

HAHA I am so cheap. If I could have all 3 team members as Dante I so would. I've become such a bastard with him.

along with Super- Skrull and spiderman or wolverine see to be the best match for me.
