Simply, what Origin story are you importing? I know many of you have a lot of different saves to import (I myself have way too many as well) but pick a favorite! 

Myself, I am importing at least a Human Male Mage (Especially because Magi are related to Hawke in a way). I got loads of them, but one 'realistically perfect' (Pretty good choices with reasonable flaws ) that I shall be using no doubt. Though I'm trying to decide between Dalish, City Elf or Human Noble for a current Rogue that I'm trying to make. Which I'll likely start off with. 

So what are you definitely importing, and why?

I'm kinda torn between my Magi and Human Noble one.

I will be importing a Dwarf Warrior. Haven't decided on Noble or Commoner yet, but I do want it to be established that a Dwarf slew the Archdemon, what with the one before it being done in by an elf.

City Elf (my favorite). However, it saddens me that if I do that, all the other Warden-candidates from the other origin stories die in the imported canon.

I may also get to a female Dwarf Noble Warrior somewhere down the line.

God help me, I deleted all my DAO saves a few months ago, simply so I could have enough room to create a character that I could metagame to hell & back once I've played DA2. Having said that, I've made two characters to choose from since.

I think my 'canon' play is Elissa Cousland:



Romanced Leliana, Morrigan x Alistair for the Ritual, Alistair x Anora for the wedding.

Killed the big lizard herself.

For her boon, she asked for the Howes to be punished (petty I know, but that was for Iona).

Told Fergus there was too many bad memories and she was never coming home.

Left as she promised with Leliana; went to see Stens' people and Zevran tagged along. Parted on good terms with everyone else.

I also assume she and Leli adopted Iona's child.

Dwarf Warrior - played through original game, awakening and all the DLC's you could import into.

I'm going to import my human mage walkthrough. It will be interesting how the story goes when a relative of the hero of Fereldan becomes champion of Kirkwall and see the fallout o the decisions made in awakenings. My mage also left with Morrigan and his child and I'm wondering if there are going to be rumors about him.

I didn't really buy Leilana's Song or Golems because i didn't really see the point of the dlcs. Am I missing any big decisions from Golems?
