I think its safe to say im a Mass Effect nerd. I've played both games front to back 10+ times. I've read all the books and comics too. It's safe to say I'm going to love ME3 regardless, but here's a few little things that I really hope to see.

1) Higher (or preferably none at all) Level cap

In ME2  its easy to hit the level cap in the core game alone, long before the end.  Add in all the DLC and you can almost hit  LV.30 halfway through your playthrough. To me that makes all playing after the cap a lot more boring than it has to be.

2) More hairstyles

Not very important, but it would be nice. I personally only think 2 of the hairstyles don't look goofy, so all of my shepards either have one or the other.

3) The ability to toggle helmets on and off

I know many people have voiced complaints about this so I'm sure we'll be able to. We could do it in ME1, why not ME2?

4) Change or no galaxy map music

I love all the music in the ME series. But lets be honest, with the amount of time you spend at the galaxy map in ME1 and ME2 that music just gets really, really , really annoying. I've heard about the new composer for ME3, whether or not that means they wont be able to use the old music I don't know.

5) No disappearing dead bodies

Maybe its just me, but I hate when games do this. You kill a guy, turn around, then come back and *poof* like magic that dead body vanished into thin air. We've come a long way from "Goldeneye 64". I dont know why my handiwork has to keep vanishing.

6) ELEVATORS!!

I may be the only person that wants the elevators back. People complained that the elevators in ME1 were slow and boring. This is true, but I think what most people didnt realize was that the elevator ride were when the game was loading. You know what is worse than an elevator ride? A loading screen. I would much rather listen to some humorous banter between squad mates then stare at a loading screen.
