I believe that Sylvius The Mad is one of most intresting posters in here and all he does is contradict.
But that's because he respondes to logic and uses logic in return.

Yes, that tale was ended though through swiftness and indifference. Clearly it was not meant to be thus it was ended before it could begin, no? Thus I have no qualms with how it was handled when I'm far too busy dealing with Dwarfs and theiving Antivan Sneaky Hands!

Bioware learn from mass effect 2, if a character dies in mass effect 1 that character stays dead throughout the series, so i dont understand why you feel the need to remove our choices when thats one of the major factors about dragon age.

It wouldnt of been hard to of counted for the choices to anders, as i said there were really only 3 outcomes to the character.

I ask for proof and I get nothing.  Fantastic.  Looks like your word is worth what our epilogues are.  Don't make a statement and then find yourself unable to back it up.  We have enough people here doing that already.

It's great you guys have 100% faith in a dev, but you should not assume or ask that of everyone.

Yeah, dev backpedaling after making promises that could not be kept, just like that transfer through platforms thing they used to talk about.  I just want lucidity from jump.  I don't think I am asking for anything unreasonable.

My warden was a friend to Anders and would have tried to help him.  And because my Warden is being eliminated from the scenes, my Warden has become an **** that blows off friends who need your help, and I don't like that.  My warden would have went to him in person to help.  We'll probably get someone like Nathaniel at the very best which is rather impersonal, but whatever.

Not happy about this.  Not happy about any changes that retroactively change the behaviors of characters I have forged in a game where our choices are supposed to matter.

Bioware is a game company that has devs nice enough to feed us tablescraps of info every now and then. They and the forumites aren't hear to coddle you everytime a change happens that hurts your wittle immersion. Things like this give us all a bad name. No wonder the media doesn't take us seriously.

I would argue the reason gamers aren't taken seriously is precisely because they 'take it', but that is an argument  you can take to pm, buddy.

The 'tablescraps' we are 'fed' can be found elsewhere, and I am not asking for anyone to coddle me, so. . .nice trolling, man.

Then people started to complain. Eventually, the devs said, basically, "Well, if you don't care about hand-waving the ending you chose, and want to play with a dead character, we don't care either, so you can, if you want." Part of that whole "no canon choice" thing, I guess.

Thats been fixed. Bioware made the transport system that will make the Orgins story have precedence over all the other saves and it will act as if the Awakening save was the Orlesian Grey Warden if you chose the Ultimate Sacrifice.

Seriously...people are so disenfranchised by the direction taken with DA2 as to not really give a flying...about Anders !

Those that are seem not to care if the game had been cut to 5 hours and turned into a fps...they blindly kissdevbutt without so much as a whimper.

Anders inclusion is terrible writing and if you notice the very same people kissing butt about the wardens non participation....are browbeating those on complaining about Anders....ironic

Well, if you have played the saintly perfection/divine gift from the gods that is Portal, you should know that length does not equate to good. In fact, length can be detrimental to good.


BioWare makes good games. In fact, I would generally go so far as to say that BioWare makes amazing games. Whether or not you agree with what they do with the game does not change that their games have received, overall, critical acclaim by both many fans and respected game publications worldwide. So, if you don't enjoy it, that's fine, but don't expect to be taken seriously when you don't seem to be providing any concrete reasons as to why what BioWare has done in this instance is a bad thing.
