Why not just enjoy the view? Admire those rippling muscles as they thrust a big chunk of metal into an ogre's face? That's beauty, that is...

I always felt jealous when I played as a mage and took rogues/warriors to a fight with a High Dragon. There they are, sat on the thing's flipping head, stabbing it and then rolling off as it flails about and dies. Meanwhile my mage is on the ground doing poking animations with her staff.

So glad mages get their own finishers now.

there was this one epic moment in my first play through. it was right at the end, just before the arch-demon fight, two ogres attacked my party, my warrior attacked one Alistair attacked the other. by shear random chance we both got the kill at exactly the same time and we both performed the finishing move at the same moment.

It was really brilliant, and I've never managed to repeat it, ah well.

Considering how flashy the regular combat is, the killing blow animations must be pretty crazy.

I'd love to actually have some Mage and Archery killing blows. So annoying seeing Alistair always take the spotlight when slaying a huge monster. No fair! I can't do killing blows!

Maybe the ripping in half thing from the trailer is a mage killing blow

This.  I got tired of saing "Go Zev!" or "Go Ali!".  I wanted my own darnit.  I'm glad we mages got some love.

Same here getting upset when someone stole my deathblow.

There should be 100% deathblows on elite or higher creatures, as well as intimidating creatures as ogres etc. I often find myself playing the game simply for the deathblows, and S/S would be awful without that one redeeming quality.

I remember when Morrigan and Allistair got a simultaneous messy kill on an Ogre. Watching them dive and stab the mess out of it was awesome.

Yes, I gave Morrigan bladed weapons, same for my mage Warden, too.

Well. That would be nice.
They could just look at Age of Conan really. Has some great killing blows for all classes. Seeing people run around screaming when on fire for example was lovely. I also want a killing blow where you just use them as a pin cushion and fire tens of arrows into them.
