I made a few custom visual effects and I would like to use them as placeable effects. I tried making a blueprint in the toolset, but the effect does not show up. I can make the custom-effects appear in-game through scripting, but it would be easier if they were placeable effects. I appreciate any help.
How to make new placeable effect blueprints.

I ran into the same issue when creating new blueprints with some of my custom VFXs. What I found that worked was to made a copy of a global blueprint, assigned my VFX then renamed, with new ref and all that and it would work.

Yep, what Shaughn recommends is the way to go. For whatever reason, the game doesn't much like you making your own VFX blueprints. I always copy dirt shadow and I've never had a problem.
