This is a compilation of fixes for Dragon Age: Released by the Unpaid Tech Support group (with a special thanks to Dateranoth and ChandlerL for their hard work and to Lapsus for his Impulse fix, and also to HemisH for his wonderful DLC FAQ)

1)Game won't start after updating to patch 1.01 (or... my play button no longer works)
