Did nothing occur when you click on the world exit or did you see an empty world map?

In the former case, have you installed any third-party mod(s) that could explain this issue?

In the latter case, simply click once or twice on the world map icon (the unroll scroll icon) located at the bottom of the world map (not the icon located at the top of the screen). This should bring the normal world map with the new locations you can reach.

i got window 7 64 bit. i didnt crash with just dragon age orgins but awakening i crash now in combat, when the awakening came out i did not crash at all. now after putting the game back on i crash all the time. or in dialogue with npc i loose mouse pointer function. i can move the mouse just cant choose anything.

The fix for the quad-core processors works great, but is there any way to make it remember that setting instead of having to do that every time I start the game?

Direct2Drive instructions:
Install it and then run it. Click the login tab and then log in to your

I have windows 7, and I'm getting the "Error initializing PhysX" issue. All of my drivers (including PhysX) are updated completly, and I'm still getting this problem. I have a GT 250. Any solutions?

Windows 7 64 bit. I've played the game all the way through multiple times. Now I've developed a new glitch. SPOILER WARNING



After the big duel when the entire company is crowded into a little room and Alister comes in to complain - when I play it now, the door opens, no one is there, then it jumps my character to the dining room and Alister has disappeared from the entire game. He's not in the group. He's not at Redcliff, he's just gone visually. You can hear him, but he's gone and when the army goes to Denerim, it's just my character, Arl Eamond and his brother out in the forest outside Denerim. I can run my character all the way through burning Denerim and around, I've got screen shots of this. It's rather amazing, but there's no one else there, no darkspawn, no army of humans, no one but my character. Does anyone know how to fix this???

Hey all hope someone can help me with this. I have the game running extremely fast almost teleporting around the place when i move its so fast. So i changed CPU affinity to CPU 1 or CPU 0 (have a dual core AMD) and it crashes the game. When it doesn't crash i go into the game and its slowed down to normal but my party doesn't run around like normal they just hover (legs and body doesn't move).



This only started happening when i upgraded my computer to a 3.2 Ghz AMD dual core CPU and DD2 1066 ram 2gb and a Nvidia GTX 470 1280mb video card.



Any ideas? PLEASE!!!

For the Processor core issue, when I go to my task manager, under the CPU column the numbers keep changing. Most of them say they run on 00, but then it will blink to 01 or 02, then go back to 00 again. Some of them even say 99 (and I DON'T have 99 processors. >.>) Am I even looking in the right place?

You're looking (partly) in the wrong place unfortunately. What you're looking at is the CPU usage %. You need to right-click on the process and tell it to "set affinity".

Yeah Ive got the crashing to desktop problem too, but this started from the Tower of Ishal right throught to Lothering, and to be quite honest I just cant progress any more at the moment which is just frustrating me. I have the same setup for my desktop as hicsuntdraconis too. I have just started playing this on PC after being on Xbox (so much better on PC) so it might be something nooby I have done wrong maybe. Feels like my gametime has been kinda cut short at the moment "/ Any help or direction to a post would be greatly appriciated

my copy installs and everything but it then says problem with physxloader.dll could not connect to network location.....i've tried doing it manually...redownloading it....i don't know what to do...and then i try to run it...and the computer says it's missing

i got win 7 32 bit after pach 1.04 the game doesn't open any one now how to fix this

Add me to the list but my problem is lil different. I could play the game with my previous computer (x1950xt + x2 5600 + winxp)



Now I have what I call "Deadly Trio" Phenom II x6 1090t BE, ATI 6850 and Windows 7 Ultimate.

Game hangs after new game > intro demo. I suppose that's where the character creation is, right. Mass Effect 2 and 1 also hang at the "Press Any Key" screen just after logos.



Simply put, no bioware game works. I have no problem with other games, newer or older.



Nothing worked. No patches, no workarounds, no affinity(lol), no nothing.

As of trying to play it today, non of my Bioware games go past the launch menu. I have Dragon Age ultimate edition and the dragon age 2 demo. Both of these worked great on the same machine days ago. What is going on?

I get the following arror - "this application is unable to run on guest accounts or windows accounts without sufficient privileges please log in using another windows account". I play the original game without this problem, and my firewall is ok - what do I do????

I've installed DA2 twice now and when I hit play, I see a black box opens quickly then closes and the game does not load. I tried to download the new patch but that didn't solve the issue. I see theres an issue with AVG but I have v8.5 which has been said to not have an issue. I got some kind of error with my resident shield when I first installed the game but not the second time. I'm not sure if the "game mode" setting is only for v9 but I can't find it in 8.5. Any help?
