We are doing poems in English class and today we learned about limericks. My friend and I who both play DA started thinking up Dragon Age limericks and I thought I'd share them.

I only have one but I'll work on more. And if any of u have any post them on here so we can all get a laugh.

For those of you who want to participate but don't know what a limerick is, its a poem style that started in Irish pubs. They are often funny and lewd. They are made as follows:

They have 5 lines.
Lines 1, 2, and 5 rhyme and have 7 to 10 syllables.
Lines 3 and 4 rhyme and have 5 to 7 syllables.

Here goes:

There once was a young man named Aedan
Who slept with a young fair maiden
Her name was Iona
She fell to the stone-a
Avenged by the warrior Aedan

Just join in if you want to and I'll try to think up more.

Heres some more:

There was a drunken dwarf Oghren
Who was the very opposite of Sten
Sten was a warrior proud
Oghren ornery and loud
But they fought side by side killing men

There was a young deshyr of Orzammar
Who fought but had nary a scar
Betrayed by one brother
Blamed for killing the other
Stripped of his title he left Orzammar

And 2 more, I'm gonna try to do all the Origins:

There was a young mage from the Tower

She was as pretty as a flower

Her friend Jowan needed help

Later was heard a yelp

The blood then came down in a shower

There roamed in the forest wild elves

The Dalish they called themselves

Two hunters found a cave

Only one they could save

He then left his fellow elves
