I guess I can't expect a ME2 quality production. Those DA2 devs really love cutting corners.

Someone already mentioned it once but did anyone else notice how FemHawke stay with the sarcastic responses even when the player wasn't promted?
I noticed that.. And I think that's really cool. I actually feel like we're defining our character more
Well I hope you don't have to stick with one of the reply options for the whole game. I usually change my tone depending who I am talking with and why.
No You still get to pick tone on certain conversations but the tone you pick the most will become one that makes your responses become that tone. I know I am waaay oversimplfying the system. I will see if I can find the dev response explaining it.
Edit:
Explanation
I'm assuming that your Hawke will be the type to burn down hospitals full of war orphans, yet take the time to save a kitten from a tree? If so, then yea, personality tracking will definitely screw you over;)AlexXIV wrote...
Well yes. And I hope it works in DA2 the same way. That's pretty much my point. I just don't know how this 'personality tracking' is going to screw with my idea of what my character is supposed to be like.Vicious wrote...
So the way he talks doesn't really reflect the way he acts and vice versa.
That's absurdly easy to do, even in a polarizing game like Mass Effect - which DA2 is not.
Pick all the rude/brusque options and when time comes, make the heroic decision.
Gosh, how hard was that?
I'm gonna play the demo three times at least. First, selecting all the 'nice' options. Second, the sarcastic ones. Third, the not so nice ones. I want to see every possible way that her personality tracks.bluecapsule6 wrote...
The personality tracking makes sense so that your Hawke isn't constantly acting like a schizophrenic lunatic. It was implemented pretty superficially in Alpha Protocol though, so hopefully Bioware does a better job at it.

"Professional."
She was great to work with. Easy going and really got into the character. Good at evoking emotion, too.
That's what you wanted to know, right?
