Does playing games on the PC make people into self-important pricks? Or do self-important pricks just naturally gravitate to the PC?
Neither. We're born, and then The PCs Gravitate to us. We're *that* awesome.
Does your Xbox do the same for you?
Heh... gravitate... this would be the perfect time for a fat joke.

I think the reason some of us (PC gamer by choice, so I guess I have to include myself in the group here) are grumpy about this, is that DA:O was, for ages, promised to be a PC exclusive, old-school RPG, and felt somewhat betrayed when it was delayed for the sake of the console versions (or, at least, that's how some of us saw it; I didn't, but...), and are worried that the PC gameplay's going to be watered down to meet the lowest common denominator. Personally, from everything I've seen, the combat's just as tactical as ever, with added visual awesome, so I'm cool with it, and wish the PS3 and Xbox crowds well, but... well, I guess the whole console wars/console-PC rivalry kinda passed me by.

I think it's been a very long time since a default face looked so gorgeous. ^^
True. I'll probably create a custom face for my first playthrough, but I certainly wouldn't be ashamed to use the default face - unlike Mass Effect; I found the iconic Shepard a bit... I dunno, not my style (I don't much care for stubble-head; prefer proper baldie; Jean-Luc Picard and Benjamin Sisko for the win!), and the first preset for the female Shepard... I mostly dived straight for the skin-tone slider, went for either Asian or African skin tones... probably because of the whole 'mingled-race future' thing, and Kaiden and Ashley being fairly white...
And now I'm rambling on again. Darn.
