I was kind of surprised how "playful sarcastic" she sounded, especially when you compare it to male Hawke's more deadpan "..tell me you didn't try the cake." sarcastic line.

Actually it is.   Or at least, it can be.   You're just doing the Blow-by-blow  wrong.


Before TV, Boxing matches were broadcast on the radio.  If you've ever listened to the old recordings, they can be extremely dramatic and really fun to listen to, even when the broadcaster is literally going back and forth  calling each shot as it happens.

I'm mildly disappointed in that, actually.   From   last week's  2-minute intro movie, we saw a cold, badass interrogator that seemed to be eating Varric for lunch.   Very Very HOT!

By the way, I haven't read the rest of this thread but, is it me or does Mama Hawke have the identical voice actress to Eleanor Cousland? Is it really that hard to find new voice actors, I would rather have someone different playing Mama Hawke as to not keep thinking about Eleanor and my Cousland warden everytime Mama Hawke talks. Not to mention Leandra is the same name that Eleanor's friend who was visiting Highever had.

Femhawkes voice isn't very good IMO or in Estels (sounds likea girl name BTW) Does that makes us sexist?

Some do.  And others' brands of humor about the game come off as serious.  In any case, thanks for sharing these.

Uppity = presumptuously arrogant, assuming air's beyond one's station.

Well, he picked all sarcastic dialog choices. I'm sure she'd sound less... uppity... if more serious dialog choices were taken.

Sure, partially it can be attributed to the sarcastic dialog choices but those same lines could have been delivered differently. I dunno, the combination of british english and the cocky delivery (how she changes the pitch in her voice) is a little overkill for me.

I think it has less to do with sexism and more local familiarity with the stereotypes associated with particular English accents.

Thanks for the uploads. Opinions on the game? 

From watching it in HD.. it looks like Origins, but with more "anime" style combat and slightly bet ter graphics, and a crappier UI. Not as bad as I was expecting but.. I dunno. Something about the game seems "off" to me. FemHawke is pretty cool though.
