Well for one if it was indeed went through with it, the demo would of gotten leaked.. no doubt about it. It seems he is the only one on the internet to have it.

Femhawkes voice just seems bland to me,

I really liked Mhawkes from what very little we've seen, but when i hear femhawke it dosen't stay in my mind. Aveline is the onbly female voice i like so far.

From watching it in HD.. it looks like Origins, but with more "anime" style combat and slightly bet ter graphics, and a crappier UI. Not as bad as I was expecting but.. I dunno. Something about the game seems "off" to me. FemHawke is pretty cool though.

Just remember that the graphics aren't set to "high" or "very high" (they seem to limit it to DX9 as well) so I think it will look much better with the DX11 features turned on. They most likely had to exclude DX11 and better textures to decrease the size (MB/GB wise) of the demo. Purely speculation though...

Coincidentally, how large of a download is the demo? Does anyone know?

Hang on a second....but the demo will include basically the same in-game time period right? As in, the difference is more betwen builds than content.

Don't give me the "sit from your couch" line. My LCD is bigger than my tv.

- you can use either a keyboard or a controller in most situations, so you can choose whichever feels good to you
- you can bump up the graphics to really nice levels and take screenshots of situations you like and play them at high resolutions

That's my two main reasons. If I was to sit on my couch, the font would be too small, I'd have to wear my glasses because I'm nearsighted and I hate it when things have blurry edges.

No it does not. I said nothing about being sexist. I merely stated a simple fact; that the only meaning I know of for the word 'uppity' is the one I described, and asked whether that was the meaning intended, since that didn't seem likely to me in this context.

I did in fact not. I simply saw it, noticed that it wasn't released yet and decent gameplay videos were rare as usual. Figured I might record some of my playing to make the wait a little bit easier

cassandra seems even more awesome from the demo, she seems almost desperate to find hawke but not in a kill him/her way! Loved seeing a softer side to her, not sure if its a cunning interrogation technique or showing her true personality or a sign of how worried she is about events!

The public demo that's coming out wont have a character creator and wont have any higher level graphics over medium, and wont be able to change the difficulty from normal so I don't see how it's any different.
