No, Bioware asked him to stop. He's not going to release more.

Except seeing how this video of ogre fight in DA2 appears more boring than anything i've personally witnessed in DAO (and considering this particular bit of discussion is a result of someone else also saying that this fight in DA2 looks boring) i don't think you're correct. Obviously, this is down to individual tastes and whatnot but if what DA2 shows was indeed universally better and "10x less boring" we wouldn't have this discussion in the first place.Eclipse_9990 wrote...
It is the same mechanically. Its the same attacks but faster, and has a bit more variety. Which is better imo.
I don't think its so bad. If DA2 had DA:O animations watching Aveline stab that Ogre over, and over would have been 10x more boring that it is.

Of course it is. We'll be playing the exact same content in the demo that'll be released on Tuesday.

This IS NOT the demo that will be released to the public on February 22.
I
see a bunch of questions thining that this person got early access to
the demo or whatever. This is a build and demo from a convention
appearance. It isn't the demo you will all be getting on Feb 22.
Just so you know.

I love how even though for a long while at the end of the ogre fight it was just Aveline kicking ass, and both hawke boys were dead, as soon as the fights over it shows hawke finishing off the last opponent. Where's Avelines credit?

We might be going through some of the same content, but this isn't footage from the demo. Ie things could have changed.

Sure we might see some polish here and there, but content and restrictions wise it's exactly the same. So calling it different isn't really logical.

Content is not the same. A large part of the demo we'll be getting sounds as if it'll take place in Kirkwall. That may even be the meat of the demo we get.packardbell wrote...

I didn't. I said it wasn't Demo footage. Which it technically isn't. The rest was your doing.

Hmmm.
Pros: Overall look of the game is crisp and clean and the new art style continues to impress. Love both male and female Hawke's voices, they sound witty and tough. Mage combat animations are night-and-day improved from Origins; mages look incredibly fun to play now at both long and short range. Too bad the player seemed to not be into playing the class at all and it showed.
Cons: Exploding enemies. I've been a big proponent of the flashier animations and the removal of all the awkward shuffling in combat, etc. But where are the cool and unique finishing blows? In Origins they synced up your kills really well and punctuated the action brilliantly. Now it looks like your enemy just topples over in a dull, impactless canned crumple animation, OR explodes in a shower of comical blood that leaves feet standing there like smoking craters. Seriously? I'm all for over-the-top combat, but this is less 300 and more Itchy and Scratchy, no?

Obviously your defintion of demo is a bit skewered. This demo is the same that was avaliable to people at the coventions which is exactly the same in it's function, i.e you play it. So yes it is demo footage.
"Only 5 days till the demo is released. I'm sure we all can wait awhile longer :)"
