Even if they had, we would all still be crying the week before release, begging them to release the demo already.ElvaliaRavenHart wrote...
I don't understand why Bioware didn't release the demo earlier? I was surprised on that.

That is messed up. Why not some diversity in storytelling? Why does it have to be another family on the run?
Thre have been other conversatoins like the ones with Isabela and that one Rock Wraith that seem to rush to the point.David Gaider wrote...

The fact that the situation is urgent limits how much talking you get to do.
Well I know that.David Gaider wrote...

Granted no one bothered much with the investigate options, but so far it seems like some flowing conversations will be stripped down a bit.
I guess we'll just wait and see.

Well... The best laid plans can go awry. The best commanders are the ones that can maintain situational awareness and be able to react to fluid changes in a combat environment. Not an easy task. I like the idea of not seeing each encounter ahead of time and not being able to see every single enemy before the fight happens.
Just as long as they don't aggro spawn like the Terrorists in Terrorist Hunt mode in the Rainbow Six Vegas games. I'm sorry, if I clear a room and touch a door, people don't magically spawn 3 feet behind me with a belt-fed LMG.

I need to stop sitting on these forums. I'll never get anything done, and the hype will turn me into a soulless husk of my former...

I'm not arguing against tactical awareness at all, that's what was required when fighting something like the harvester, and spawning 3 feet behind you is exactly what happened in the last vid when 3 hurlocks jumped Mage Hawke from behined, it's ridiculous... I'm just saying that without the isometric camera that makes it even worse, being to anticipate when they'd show is something, dealing with them is another matter entirely.

You know the wave after wave of darkspawn kinda reminded me of the attack on Redcliff. I didn't exactly like that battle, as it just got boring fighting the same creatures over and over. It always ends up being a race to see if I run out of healing before the waves end. And these darkspawn all look the same, they are using the same animation, often at the same time. Even the groups of darkspawn in DA:O the wilds had at least two or three types to mix it up a little.

It's nice to know that negativism in the forums is alive and well... even after we finally get full footage showing how people's worsts fears were unjustified.

There probably aren't genlocks and shrieks in DA2. Probably.LeBurns wrote...
