Super-Dream ending: Humanity unites into a Reaper and becomes new god of this galaxy.



Plain-Dream ending: Citadel. Empty space. Human fleet jumps in. Cerberus and Alliance emblems are seen on ships. Dreadnought docks to the Citadel. Council chamber. Shepard in Cerberus officer tunic and TIM walk in laughing on some joke. Council: "How you dare to step in here?!" Shepard: "Ah, Council. Powerful conclave of wise races that rules the Galaxy. We have dismissed that claim."



Realistic-Dream ending: Cerberus and humanity become dominant force on galactic arena post-war.

Mine would be the reapers to have been destroyed by Shepard and his crew. For the quarians and geth to have settled there differences and live together on there home world by still use the migrant also a new breakthrough that let's all quarians immune systems be stronger so there able to get out them protective suits.

The krogan world to have been rebuilt.

And basically all alien races can live together in peace.



Oh and have all crew members stay on a bigger Normandy and given the job to patrol the galaxy for any sign of potential danger, that way all my favourite characters get to stay together.

I also want Shepard and Tali to get married!!!

It's going to be interesting how they plan on making the endings a fixed point to continue further games from. Unless they just ignore what happens in the trilogy anyway.



Fallout manages because each area is localised , what you do in Washington has little impact in Nevada (just getting that in , in case someone brings it up). That's not really going to work in Mass Effect unless the end involves having to destroy the mass relays or something of that magnitude.

My ME 3 Dream Ending? I have some ideas. Well, one of them is...

Shepard survives. I would like that very much...

After the final battle Shepard was hit by the explosion. Shepard's LI runs to him/her trying to save him/her. Shepard loses consciousness. And then... He/she is in space. There in nothing but darkness and stars... Shepard hears someone's voice. It sounds so familiar... Could it be...
Shepard sees the one he/she left on Virmire. The one tells Shepard the battle is over and the galaxy is saved. And then Shepard's former teammate tells that Shepard has completed his/her mission and can go back.
Few days later Shepard wakes up and sees his/her LI next to him/her. They kiss.
And then... Well I think there should be a great celebration to commemorate the victory.

Infact they shouldn't end the game they should just have it an ongoing thing so we can enjoy it year after year!



I'm going to Be mega sad when shepards and the Normandys story come to an end. Very very sad.

My Perfect ending the the Mass Effect series would be to epic to compelety but to words, so I'm gonna shortin' it for ya' ^w^ . . .



1) Earth gets Blown up(for all the LoLs).

2)Harbinger and all his little reaper groupies end up dead somehow.

3)That Anderson gets to smack the stupid Turian council member after all the years of "Aw yes, the Reapers" crap.

4)The Geth help end the reapers and become a actual race (allought that probaly way far from what happens X'( ¿POR QUÉ ?!?!?!?!?).

5)Wrex reunites the Krogans into an Empire (Wrex being Lord Sidious and Grunt as Darth Vader or some uber cool crossover shenanigans) and get a spot on the council.

6)I know I'm gonna get trolled for this but It would be awesome if Saren and Nihlus could come back . . .

7) To shut up the whinny Quarians I guess they could have their home world, but me personally couldn't care less about them >:3

8) Liara and Feron help Shepard with all their cool job at knowing every secret deal, Shepard kinda did just give it to them.

9) That a relationship with Garrus becomes serious and we get to meet his family, show big daddy V who's the Boss! HA!

AND Finally 10) Shepard lives. I'm not giving up over 5 years of my life, over $100 (First two games + DLC), and all my hopes up into a hero that dies in the end! No way in HELL!! It would be cool if Shepard lived and came out with a robotic limb or two.

Destroy reapers, everyone alive, don't die, every race is happy, go and face-plant the Turian councillor, finish off every mission and fix the galaxy, retire with Liara and have lots of little blue children with Uncle Garrus, Auntie Tali, Uncle Wrex, and our friendly family doctor Mordin Solus.

Also, I get to have Harbinger as my own personal ship.
Also, I shoot the Illusive man in the face with a shotgun.
Also, I get Conrad Verner to dress up as the adoring fan.

Final boss destroyed, Big explosion, rubble everywhere, then silence (cut to black optional). Montage of every main plot world and outpost you've visited, similarly damaged, with or without Reapers losing/defeated depending on game choices (yes, this includes from ME1 and ME2). Cut back to rubble field, smoky, and uncertain as to whether Shepard, in fact survived. Cue him/her and the Love interest walking, battered but triumphant, out of the mist, then Match Cut to their wedding. (If no LI, then Shepard's either alone or with Garrus or Tali depending on gender, Match Cutting to medal ceremony instead). After that is done with, then Shepard sails off into the distance in the Normandy SR2, ready for another adventure. During the credits, tiny clips akin to the Shadow Broker video feeds (but with better framerate) play in sequence to "Don't Fear The Reaper" leading into a theme of Clint Mansell's devising, dealing with the rest of the ramifications of your actions. For example, you could have Conrad Verner in front of a group of smiling kids, holding up a banner that says "Shepards", the turian councilor being publicly ousted from office while a version of the "ah, yes, Reapers" video plays, etc., etc., etc.

I want a multitude of endings that I can potentially get depending on how I played all three games. For one thing, it ups the replay value; for another, it makes the idea of choices having meaning real.



I want a range from completely happy ending where Shep settles with his/her love interest, retires, never has to pay taxes again (sorry thought I was talking about Armageddon ...), has lots of children and every character has some kind of postscript added so that we know how it turned out.



I want a similar thing down through the mostly happy, so-so, mostly unhappy, and Reapers WIN endings.



I understand that BioWare may want to continue making games in the ME universe, but I think this could be done even after allowing for a full range of endings. If they set the game in the future or only refer to the original ME games in the vaguest of terms, I don't see a problem with multiple possible game outcomes.



It really only requires suspension of disbelief on the part of the player. If you loved the ME universe enough, you'll return even if your Shep sacrificed the entire galaxy to get reaped.

My dream ending is one in which the Reaper threat is actually real. If more then half my crew is alive and the Citadel is still standing, the Reapers would have just been a joke and two games hyping them up would be worthless.

Shepard walking through the rubble, limping badly, barely conscious, and leaning on the shoulder of whatever squadmate happened to survive with you (for me--GARRUS!). Looks bleak as hell, but then the main theme starts up and you see Shepard smile because, God damn it, we won.

Why leaning on a squaddie, you ask? Other than pure fanservicey glee, it would be awesome to see the Unstoppable Badass Savior of the Galaxy needing the support of a friend to simply stand up. Because, as badass as Shepard is, (s)he could never have done it on his/her own. For once, (s)he would be relying on someone else to see him/her through.

I like this one, but not the idea of only one squaddie surviving.

I was implying more or less that it just happens to be whoever you took with you to the final fight, not that they're the only one left.

As for precisely who's lending Shep a hand, I think it should follow a priority list:

LI > ME1 veteran > ME2 veteran > ME3 loyal squadmate > ME3 non-loyal.

Or something.  Dunno if they'd be able to calculate bro-points.

Something like seeing destroyed reapers, a sad moment as joker,anderson or somebody important sacrifice themself and then the whole galaxy makes a celebration, kind of like starts wars 6 ending i think (the last on the movie series)

It does? I thought the different relays linked to other systems without the Citadel. Do they all go through the Citadel relay?
