if i heard correctly the game has 3 main acts.

but i also heard that hawke's story is about making a choice that cassandra is trying out to find the reason of said choice. "when you  answer that reason the game ends" is what i've heard.

i could be wrong as well. or maybe i just misheard it.

I really doubt the conversation between varric and cassamdra is the end of the game, probably 85%-90% in the game (story-wise) but not the end

It ends like this:



Varric sits at a table, using the tip of a crossbow bolt to etch something important into the table.



Hawke approaches the table, "Digging to the other side of the earth are you?"



Somewhere in the distance a Mabari Hound barks. Hawke looks down at the table, to see that Varric has etched a rune into the table which consists of two vertical lines and two horizontals.



Varric looks up from his work and asks, "X's or O's?"



-fade to black-

I didn't mind it, it's what i pictured a Human Reaper would look like.

I hope it end with Varric left behind while Hawke is on his way somewhere else (at least alive)...

Not sure I care how it ends, just as long as there's tons of Princess Bride references. Like Varric saying "As you wish" and Cassandra begging the kissing to stop. Oh and as the credits roll, show "deleted scenes" with the poison drinking game thing and such.
